This is, by far, the best Farmer’s Market in the North Bay. Just a pleasant Sunday, with marginal parking nearby, though plenty, if you can walk 2-3 blocks. Wonderful vendors, with moderate pricing on vegetables. Quite a few bakers, a nice spattering of artisans, kombucha, hot foods, olives - it only gets better as the warm season progresses. See more..
4.0Bravo Farms(162 reviews) - Great Road Trip Stop Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Farmers Markets
Located just off Highway 99, Bravo Farms has a restaurant, gift shop, cheese factory, fudge shop, petting zoo, tree house and other fun things for the kids. There's a reason (or rather, many) that the Chico Saturday Farmer's Market is so popular. Each week you'll find the freshest fruits, vegetables, nuts, honeys, meats, and more all in one location. It's so popular and convenient that you'll find several chefs from local Downtown restaurants there on any given Saturday doing their shopping for their own restaurants that week. You'll also find local crafters, bakers, and food trucks/carts to round out the experience. It's always a good place to bring out-of-town guests in the morning before exploring Downtown.See more..
Sunnyvale Farmer’s Market (at Murphy and Washington Streets) is fun for people watching, music, and purchases. There is a huge variety of local farmers who grow and sell vegetables and fruit. Additionally, there are vendors that sell flowers, seafood, meat, bread, honey, olive oil, and ready-made food – Indian, crepes, popcorn, corn on the cob, and more. Plus the coffee stores and restaurants on Murphy Street are open for business. Sunnyvale Market is open every Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 52 weeks a year except for holidays. I recommend it.See more..
4.5Casa de Fruta(104 reviews) - Great “rest stop” on road trip! Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Farmers Markets
Adorable stopping place for travelers with restaurant, huge collection of antique farm tractors & trucks, train for kiddies & two-level carousel! We bought tickets to ride the carousel and we were first in line. Just as the ride before us ended the operator announced he was taking a short break. He entered nearby building to apparently use the restroom then he got in his car and drove off! After waiting patiently we went into the building to the ticket book and requested a refund as were traveling & could not wait ‘til who knows how long he would be gone! By the time we left the line was quite long.See more..

4.5CJ Olson Cherries(17 reviews) - Still selling wonderful cherries, now online Farmers Markets
A great little company, they sell mail-order cherries. They are expensive, and worth every penny. I've sent these to my mom, who used to pick cherries in the Valley when she was a girl. If she says they are outstanding, they are outstanding. The cherries they shipped to her at Mother's Day wee from their own orchard. The ones she received this week (12/17/2020) were from the southern hemisphere, and they were perfect. And delivered on time!! The attention to detail is like concierge service. My mom is in her 80s, at the stage of shedding possessions, so the gift of delicious perfect cherries is exactly what she wanted.See more..
I love going to Sigona's Farmers Market at Stanford Shopping Center. First, the amazing vegetables and fruits are so colorful and so good. They are locally grown and are organic. They always seem to have the best produce. There is also very good fresh press and seasonal olive oils and balsamics on sell; there is a tasting station so one can decide which one to buy this time. For cheese, yum. They have the best and over 250 different cheeses. There is other local and globally sourced specialty foods; I like their pasta for example. They also have very good nuts. And for that special touch, they also have nice floweres. In addition, they have excellent service. Although they do not have the lowest prices, the quality of their products is amazing. Its worth just going to Stanford Shopping Center to go here. They are a family owned business and also have a place in Redwood City.See more..

Don't forget to stroll the exterior perimeter of the parking lot to explore to antique farming equipment (with genuine tumbleweeds stuck in their crevices). The farmers market inside has a wide variety of local treats and farm fresh veggies, but they were out of several things and it looks like resupply for some of the advertised goodies to this remote location is infrequent, e.g. no tamales again until Friday delivery.See more..

3.0Dixon Fruit Market(4 reviews) - FABULOUS Fruit Stand/Market Features Local Farmstead Canned/Fresh/Gift Items Spent < 1 hour Farmers Markets
I'm SHOCKED this market has not been written up for this site. It is conventiently located right off of 80 on an easy on again/off again off-ramp. PLEASE STOP BY! We have stopped here numerous times going up to Davis, and it is a MUST SEE place. Its perfect for fresh produce for home, host/hostess gifts or holiday. And I found out from the owner, they have nice MAIL ORDER business if you are too early for holiday gifts! My husband and I walked around and were marveling at all the fabulous items. Olives and honey in many different flavors/sizes, fresh walnuts from the orchards in the immediate area. Fresh veggies, fruits and dried as well. The owner was an older man who was very nice and full of info. This is a great place for fresh, and/or canned/jar items for honeymoon, wedding, thank you, etc. Many are unusual (clover honey, alfalfa honey)...and would be terrific gifts from local farmsteads.See more..
3.5Alhambra Farmers Market(4 reviews) - A nice diversion on a Sunday mornning Friday: Spent 1-2 hours Farmers Markets If you have an hour or two to spend on a Sunday morning, this is one of the better farmer's markets in the valley (albeit on the small side in terms of selection/size since it is only one street long). There are fresh produce, some cosmetic and lotion products, and cooked foods from Asia and South America. Seating is limited, so be prepared to stand or sit on the sidewalk if consuming food. Prices are somewhat high for a farmer's market, but quality is very good and freshness is A+.See more..

It offers a very large and very flavorful collection of California foods--from organic and specialty vegetables to artisan breads to meats to flowers and prepared foods. Artisan olive oils and herbs of all types. Craft items and maybe a couple of guitarists or cool jazz musicians scattered about. Lots of free samples--why do fresh vegetables and breads taste so good? Vendors are happy to just be there and talk. They are definitely the most friendly and happy vendors I experienced a farmers' market. DefinitelSee more..
My trip to Fresno was a wash out. Rain every day. The Old Town Clovis Farmers Market closed, but the Vineyard Farmers Market is rain or shine. Since we were staying in our RV, we decided to pick up something to cook up. While it was obvious that some vendors decided not to come due to the rain, those that did were quite busy. Thankfully Roots Farms was there and we were able to get a Pork sirloin and jowl bacon ($25). We also grabbed some fresh cauliflower crowns and radishes. And because we were surrounded by the beauty of the blooming almond trees, we had to grab some organic almonds.See more..
5.0Apple Hill(4 reviews) - Plenty of Apples & The Perfect Christmas Tree. Farmers Markets
My wife and all my daughters ALWAYS enjoy going to Apple Hill in the Fall. We go year-after-year making it an annual trip, usually spending the entire day going from farm to farm. My favorite is O'Halloran's because of the variety of apple and pears. My Favorite? Arkansas Blacks... but they're only available early in the season. Weekends are busy, and traffic is like the 405 in L.A. at rush hour... but a Friday afternoon is perfect. You'll also want to check out Carson Ridge Christmas Trees... sustainable, and you get to pick out the exact, perfectly shaped tree you want.See more..

Discovered this market by accident on a Saturday morning while staying 2 nights at the Sheraton Cerritos. This was right next door across the way. We could see the vendors & tents from in front of the hotel. There are tons of fresh fruits & veggies, many of them organic. There was a honey stand, a bakery stand, a Mexican food stand, a clown blowing up balloons for the kids, fresh flowers, a person playing music, lots of samples to try. And, inexpensive! I was impressed by the quality & prices. Wish I lived here. I would be here every week. I believe the hours are 9am to 1 or 2pm. Be sure to check first.See more..
