Captain Scottie took great care of us while we celebrated with a group of 10 during a 4-hour tour. It was overcast and they reached out to us 1-2 days before to find out if we’d prefer to move to another day/time that might be more sunny. We decided to proceed with the overcast day and the boat was prepped with enclosures to keep us warm. It turned out to be a mostly beautiful day and Scottie took us around Lake Tahoe while sharing his knowledge of the area. He was a great host and took pictures of the group at various points, all while ensuring that we were having a good time. He was very accommodating to our wants and probably had a good laugh while some of the group enjoyed a COLD dip in the lake. Thanks to Lake Tahoe Boat rides for helping to make our trip a success!See more..

5.0Tahoe Jet Boats(65 reviews) - Great North Tahoe boating experience! Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Waterskiing & Jetskiing • Water Sports • Boat Rentals • Speed Boats Tours • Day Trips
Dave was awesome! Not the cheapest option, but a quality one. He was great with teaching our young adults to wakeboard and ski. Our family group of 7 ranged in ages from 21 - 78 and every one of us had fun. He took some wonderful photos and his little side kick Leo is the most adorable boat dog ever. My son called him the Customer Service Department. North Tahoe was definitely a great place to boat because we had lots of space and almost no other boats to work around. Beautiful drive there from South Lake Tahoe. Don't ignore the water shoes advice because the beaches to get down to the water are rocks and pebbles, not sand. It's the trade off for not having super crowded beaches and water space. Once you're on the boat, the beach is irrelevant. As an idea, if you have more than the 6 that's allowed on the boat, we rented a jet ski from another local boat company and rotated our extra people onto the jet ski every 30 minutes. It worked out great!See more..
5.0Tributary Whitewater Tours(49 reviews) - Wet 'n Wild River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Tours • Water Sports • Eco Tours
My husband and two teenage boys shared a 14 foot raft with another family of four. It took me a few miles of river before I really got into the experience. I was a little worried because I've had some close calls with rushing water in my past. But this was fun and I would call it 'adventurous' rather than dangerous. Just perfect for us four city folk. It's also beautiful! We stayed two days doing three trips. Two on the first day: a short pre-lunch paddle followed by a longer post-lunch paddle. We stayed the night and enjoyed the hospitality and great food and drink of our river guides. I was bounced from the raft twice. And I elected to jump in the water and swim rapids a few times too. Great fun for an active family trip! (Jim is the man! And Keegan is on his way too!)See more..
3.5Pine Mountain Lake Marina(27 reviews) - Swim, picnic and stroll by the lake Water Sports • Boat Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
The Marina has many facilities - picnic tables, nice restrooms, a food takeout, kayak hire, summer inflatables and rafts in the summer, security boats tootling up and down ... but watch out for the goose poop! They clean it every morning, and have goose-dog patrols to try and keep the geese away. 4th of July gets very crowded for the great fireworks, but otherwise plenty of space and lots of sun and laughter. You need to get in with a resident, as this is in a gated community.See more..

5.0Mountain Descents(13 reviews) - Surfing in Suicide Falls Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Water Sports
We were nervous about rafting the river as we've never been rafting before. The guide made sure we knew exactly what to expect and what to do, including a full safety briefing and practice before we went down the river. Once on the water we went through a number of rated rapids including the scary sounding suicide falls - which we then paddled back up to 'surf' the rapids. The guide made sure everyone got wet without falling in and we spent over two hours working our way down the river. This is a fantastic experience and we'd recommend it to anyone visiting Three Rivers.See more..
5.0White Water Voyages(9 reviews) - Amazing Father Daughter Trip Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Water Sports
Luther set us up for a great day. Chase was a fantastic guide. Safety was a priority even with special accommodations for COVID. Chase made it really fun for the crew. This outfit was all about service. It was a great ride for the adults and the teens. I suggest arriving the night before to be fresh for the morning. We look forward to next year doing a two day trip. See more..
5.0Redwoods and Rivers(8 reviews) - Awesome Adventure Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Water Sports
My husband and I had a great time on the full day white water rafting trip. We were along with another group of four people. Our guide was Raymond, and he was very knowledgeable of the river and of how to instruct novice rafters to maneuver the raft. After putting in the river, he gave us a lesson in rafting and was very clear of what was expected of us. All equipment such as life vests, helmets and paddles were furnished. We rafted for about 1 1/2 hours and then stopped for an excellent spread of a lunch buffet of sorts. The rest of the trip was very fun. There were different turns and bends in the river--some very exciting dips and drops (Hells Hole) and some mild and placid. We saw ducks, deer and beautiful scenery. Overall a great, fun, exciting experience -- I am glad that we took the adventure. I would do this trip again.See more..
