Nice attraction, with issues

Stretching just over three miles, these spectacular caves beneath the hills east of Nerja contain impressive stalactite and stalagmites formations. Discovered by accident in 1959, the cave has many well-marked routes, though not all are open to the public because of conservation and archaeological efforts. Cave paintings, fossils and skeletal remains have been excavated here, which you can find displayed at the Nerja Museum. Hop on the red tourist train to get to the caves from Nerja. During peak seasons, opt for skip-the-line tickets to jump ahead or take an exclusive night tour for fewer crowds. – Tripadvisor

    Beautiful views
It was worth the trip. Steep walk up from middle of parking lot A but my 81 year old mom was able to do it and there are plenty of places to sit and rest for those who need it. Worth the views. Anyone with fear of heights may not want to do it but consider it’s a very sturdy car ride and you can stand in the middle of the tram car and just look straight out. Rotating car and you see all views on the way up and down. Top of the park is a bar, a sit down restaurant which may not be open during Covid and little walk up cafe you can get soup, chile, nachos, fries and coffee and bottled beverages. Nice bathrooms on the upper level. Lockers to store items if you plan to spend several hours. At top of tram station mountain walkway is concrete with railings. It’s a steep and winding path but benches along the way make it doable. Very scenic. Worth it in my opinion. We went early like 9 am. When we were leaving the station about 11:30/12 noon there was a huge line out the door so even though it was MLK holiday On a Monday I’d recommend get up early to go to beat the long wait in line. Go on a clear day

Rise up was nice, we don't like heights but it wasn't as bad as we thought. Ride down was way too fast and far too many people inside, they need to limit the number of people inside at a time. Elevators had sings that they were out of service, this is completely unacceptable. We had someone in the group that couldn't do stairs and to have these out of service is absurd. It doesn't take long to service an elevator ! Parking at $10 is also completely unnecessary when your already buying tickets. Overall something nice to do in Palm Springs at an average cost.
