    Great experience, handicapped friendly
The tram exceeded my expectations, because they were able to accommodate our family members who had severe disabilities and use scooters. The whole experience was accessible to them, and so special. The food at Granite Bistro was super tasty, and the views were epic. Our able bodied members were able to hike up the Shirley Lake and Solitude Trails to meet us. There were some fun games to play and a playground for the kids. We saw a marmot, and tons of alpine wildflowers. The staff on the tram kept us safe, even inspecting the tram post 5.9 earthquake!

    Amazing Views!!!
Whether you are riding up to ski, bike or sight-see this is an experience unto its own! Beautiful views 360 degrees. At the top: restaurants, Olympic museum, amazing terrain...even a pool, hot tub and roller skating rink! Small day pass cost to enjoy if you are not planning on skiing down the mountain. Definite must-do if you are a non-skiing family member tired of shopping. BUT BRING A CAMERA!!!
