Beautiful tour of Lake Tahoe history

The tour is amazing with a birds eye view of how the upper crust spent their summers over 100 years ago. Bring bathing suits, rafts, etc., as the beach is open to visitors. A lovely step back in time for a well spent day at the lake.

    What a beautiful stop!
We stopped in on a whim on our way to another adventure. So glad we did! We had no idea what we were in for. I can just imagine the home during it's heydey and would love to come back for a tour. The view of the lake, the dock, the beach...extraordinary! Clean restrooms were a bonus.

A great piece of Tahoe history
If you enjoy historical homes, you won't be disappointed by this gem. It's been well appointed in period pieces and decor. The park is about an hour drive from S. Lake Tahoe, and well worth the trip. The park is also nice, but the kids will be bored during the tour, which is guided. Get your tickets at the gift shop.
