Disneyland Park, California, United States

Great family experience

Disneyland is one of the funnest places I’ve taken my family to. The amount of thought that goes into every last detail there is amazing. Staff are all very friendly, happy and helpful. It definitely gets busy, so arriving early is a good idea. Security lineups moved very quickly, which is nice having bags ready for inspection helps speed up the process too. Food inside the park can be a bit pricey so sometimes packing a lunch is a good option. Rides are so much fun. Very small children can be taken on over 50% of the rides. Genie pass is most definitely worth it. My only complaint is that the volume seems to have been turned up 100% since we were last there 7 years ago. So if you have a child with sensory issue, be sure to bring along noise cancelling ear protection, I sure wish I had.

    “The Happiest Place on Earth”
I enjoyed this park more than WDW as its not so spread out and way easier to navigate. The crowd size and wait times were also very tolerable this time of year as well. A 3-day visit is more than enough time to enjoy both parks as well as Downtown Disney District comfortably without rushing. I chose and booked direct with a good neighbor hotel (Camalot Inn) not even 50' from main entrance directly across the street. There's a million ways to save but I used Mousesavers and saved $$ on my parks tickets. I had no issues and able to damn near walk on and ride every top attraction without paying extra to ride, including Rise of the Resistance. I also was able to get in Ogas Cantina luckily without a reservation. Attractions & restaurants not to be missed in my opinion are: Rise of the Resistance Smugglers Run Ogas Cantina (Pub) Ronto Roasters (quick service) Avengers Headquarters (live entertainment) Big Thunder Railroad The Disney Gallery (exhibit) Disneyland Railroad Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT! Haunted Mansion Incredicoaster Indiana Jones Adventure "it's a small world" Jungle Cruise Matterhorn Bobsleds Peter Pans Flight Pirates of the Carribean Radiator Springs Racers Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough Star Tours Enchanted Tiki Room (Show) Web Slingers Flos V8 Cafe (quick service) Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop (quick Service) Lamplight Lounge (table service) I highly recommend and reserve way in advance!! Alien Pizza Planet (quick & table service) Bengal BBQ (quick service) Blue Bayou Restaurant (table service) Highly recommended & book in advance!! Carnation Cafe (table service) Hollywood lounge (bar) Pym Tasting Lab (bar) Shawarma Palace (quick service) Don't listen to any haters the parks are not just for kids so if you haven't been then I recommend visiting at least once in your life.
