Captain Bryce is able to put you over some of the largest Lake Trout I have ever seen. This was surely a special event for my son, my brother and my self. Originally, we were looking at spending thousands of dollars on a fishing expedition in Quebec or Ontario but found we could have that great experience at a much lower cost right here in Plattsburgh! Eastern View Outfitters provides all the gear and a modern, safe boat. We started first thing in the morning and got to appreciate an amazing Sunrise on a quiet Lake Champlain, in addition to bringing in approximately 15 big Lakers among the 3 of us. The staff was friendly, timely and helpful with questions and tips! Quaint area with breath taking scenery, perfect for a family or mother-daughter time like my trip. The horses were all very well behaved and knew exactly what was being asked of them. We took the three and a half hour experience and it was the perfect amount. Half way through we stopped to give ourselves and the horses a break, which gave us the chance to take in the scenery and get to know our guides. We had an incredible time with Gerald on our private airboat tour. The drive to the landing from our Miami Beach hotel was a little under an hour. Gerald had ear protection on board for all of us and we chose to wear them, as it's pretty noisy when in motion. He showed us plant life in the Everglades and pointed out birds we saw. The highlight was visiting Gerald's house that he built in the Everglades. We got to see a variety of fish and a few alligators around his property. He was so informative and we learned a lot about the eco-system of the Everglades. Highly recommend!See more..

We booked a guided hike through Viator and drove to NY from VA for the experience. When I contacted Grasse River Adventures to confirm the day before the scheduled hike. I was told that there was no record of the hike and that it couldn’t be scheduled. The owner, personally, handled the issue with impeccable professionalism. Mr. Burnham secured me a guided tour with another company and compensated me for the change. He followed up to make sure I was able to give the first time hike experience on the day scheduled. Terrible!!!!! The animals are abused and neglected. They don't feed the animals any vegetables or fruit, only junky pellets. The hay is disgusting!!!!! It cannot be called hay!!!!!!!! The rabbits are treated like trash!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are overfed pellets and not given any normal food or hay. They are angora rabbits and they aren't given the proper grooming required for their unique and beautiful species!!!!!!!!!! Their fur is in clumps and their nails are long and unkempt. When I came into the rabbit enclosure they were all huddled in the corner in fear. They aren't given enough love and attention. They were sickly looking and had crusted eyeballs.
