Charter Fishing for Lakers on Lae Champlain
Captain Bryce is able to put you over some of the largest Lake Trout I have ever seen. This was surely a special event for my son, my brother and my self. Originally, we were looking at spending thousands of dollars on a fishing expedition in Quebec or Ontario but found we could have that great experience at a much lower cost right here in Plattsburgh! Eastern View Outfitters provides all the gear and a modern, safe boat. We started first thing in the morning and got to appreciate an amazing Sunrise on a quiet Lake Champlain, in addition to bringing in approximately 15 big Lakers among the 3 of us. I'm a casual fisherman and my two companions die-hard anglers, but we all had the fishing experience of a lifetime. This is an experience you don't want to miss!

Awesome Spring Turkey Hunt 2020
I was interested in taking my son on a Spring Turkey Hunt and had been following some guides on Facebook. I was able to meet and speak with Bryce Collins while at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pa. I booked a 3-day hunt for my son and I for the month of May 2020. Bryce and his guides work hard to scout and put you on the birds! It's an early morning each day because these guys put the time in scouting and know where the birds are located each day. On our trip my son and I "doubled-up" each shooting our birds from the same blind literally right after legal shooting light! IT was like something you watch on a TV hunting show, it was EPIC! We were back at our hotel by 7:30 AM, LOL. On day 2, the morning birds did not want to play, so we went to other spots and the birds made us work, but we struck up a nice Tom after 10 AM and sealed the deal around 11:30 AM. Day 3 was similar as the first birds of the morning pitched down and went away from us, so we went and checked a couple spots and found a lone gobbler that Bryce was able to call and coax in by 8 AM - all tagged out! We had bagged our 4 birds in 3 mornings. (allowed 2 birds each in NY). I was shocked to see how many turkeys are that far north, man they have the birds! Also, Bryce has many properties to hunt; so he keeps the pressure to a minimum not over hunting them which is key! If you are thinking about a spring turkey hunt in the northeast, give Bryce a call. They take guiding these birds seriously and they put the work in and it shows.

Fishing trip
Yesterday was my 3rd time over the years going out with captain Bryce and his professionalism and knowledge are second to none. As someone who fishes alot and has done charters everywhere I know that fish just don't cooperate at times and someday are better than others, and yesterday morning was rough. We would find fish but the bites just weren't there, however Bryce never gave up kept moving and trying to find fish that were more active. After a slow first 2 hours we managed to find the fish and caught 8 in the last 2 hours. The day turned out to be a successful full trip with a few 30+ inches and everyone on board catching some and 2 people catching their personal best. So I would highly recommend captain Bryce anytime his work ethic and dedication is second to none.
