   Great place to stop for amazing views of Lake Erie. The observation tower has a lot of steps, so be prepared. There are public restrooms, but we discovered they were closed in the off-season when we visited. Parking was free at the marina. There's a little beach area that's beautiful for getting up close to the water. We were there mid-day, and it was gorgeous watching the sun gleam over the water. I wish we could have stayed to watch the sunset, as it would have been amazing! Just 4 minutes driving down the road is the Naval Park and we stopped there to walk along the water and see the ships and aircraft as well. See more..

   We searched out this marina one Friday evening after dinner (we are not from around here) and I'm glad we used google maps. Thought for sure we would see boat launch signage somewhere but it wasn't posted. This is situated on a very pretty point on Lake Erie and would be a great spot to watch the sunset.
