    - Spring Trip

    Warwick Valley Winery image
Good place for a spring trip. The winery is very nice, but crowded no matter what time you get there. Everybody is very respectful with space, keeping distance and mask. Live music on weekends. FOOD: The menu offers a variety of dishes: pizza, salad, soup, sandwich, charcuterie board. The waiting time to be served can take an hour or more. But the wait is worth it. The food is delicious and orders are accurate. DRINKS: Be aware that you have to buy food, at least a bag of chips, in order to buy drinks. There are two areas for drinks. The tasting area or the wine store, where you can buy the bottles from the tasting area. Tasting package cost $20.00 for a complete set that includes Apple cider, wine, and spirits. You also get 3 souvenirs glasses for each type of drink. OUTDOOR: Plenty area to sit. In the café, patio area or picnic area. You can bring your picnic blanket and chairs. See more..

    Tousey Winery image
We have been to Tousey several times now; and we truly love their wines, coziness, their great Halloween parties, and service. Our new discovery is their lunch time friendliness and the great food that matches their tasty wines. My husband's favorite is their Pinot Noir, while mine is their Killer Red, but if your are there during lunch time, Queen of Clermont (both sparkling and regular) with Duck Pastrami pannini is a great combo. Today we went as a family. Our kids loved their flat breads, and we enjoyed having great time as a family!!! If you are there for some ladies' time, I would highly recommend their Rebellion Rose, unfortunately so popular that it's sold out! Can't wait for the new series coming up soon!!! Tousey Winery is a great Hudson Vally experience with a friendly service. Looking forward to our next time in town!!! See more..

The six of us stopped here to do a wine tasting and the wine for some reason wasn't good at all. Most wines have a smooth finish or are have a crisp taste to them, but all the wines here that we sampled had like a bite to them for a finish note, we couldn't understand what was wrong. None of the wines had a smooth finish to them. We will not be going back again to this place See more..

Friendly owner and great wine. We stopped here in late October after the main tourist season. We were never asked to pay a fee for the tasting and left with an order of 6 bottles which are being shipped to us. This is a very lovely property with a very nice, large tasting room. We were able to find wines that we really liked well enough to have them shipped back to our home in Texas. See more..

    - Try The Habanero Wine!

    Niagara Landing Wine Cellars image
This is a diamond in the rough. It doesn't have the Napa Valley chateau-like tsting room that so many wineries think is necessary. Tastings take place in a building that looks pretty basic from the outside, but is beautiful on the inside. For us, even their driest wines were not dry enough, but if somewhat sweeter and fruitier is your thing, you will love it. The price is amazing: $3 for a flight of six. The gentleman pouring our wines was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and suggested a good variety of wines based on our preferences. The rest of the staff was quite engaging also.Hands down, we all loved the "Hot Wine" which is a fairly sweet, red wine spiked with an essence of habanero peppers that give the perfect kick of heat in the finish. It is more of a sipping wine, so, sip away! Just a quick piece of trivia; we were told that this winery started out growing its grapes many years ago for Welch's, the grape jelly producer. Just sayin' See more..

I had been to this place before in order to walk the trails, but this was the first time I had lunch there. They were serving lunch outside on a very large patio overlooking the lake. The menu is small and the prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and efficient. I am sure I will return in the future. They were offering wine tastings which my friend and I declined, but I could see that they were very generous "tastes" from what was given to other customers. See more..

    Leonard Oakes Estate Winery image
We love the whole experience at LOEW This was the second time we'd been and, as before, choosing which wines to leave behind was difficult. LOEW is the gold standard for us in the Niagara area. When we mentioned this to another winery we visited the comment was that we had very high standards they were being held to. The only thing that detracted from the experience this time was the need to purchase food due to a new New York law. The food provided, although pleasant and nicely presented, did nothing to cleanse the palate between wines. If anything the flavors stopped the full beauty of the wine frome coming through. Next time we are in the area, we will return for more. See more..

    - Not fancy but nice

There is definitely nothing fancy or ornate about this winery, but the wine is nice. We tend to be toward the sweeter side of wines and there was a nice selection of semi-sweet to really sweet. I would not say this is the place for the wine snobs to go looking for high-quality cabs, malbecs, or the like, but for us the wines are very drinkable and we will be sharing our purchase with friends.
