We visited the orchard for a tour, but due to weather, we had to do the indoor tour. I would have preferred to visit the orchard and end up in the Treehouse. The tasting was not anything special. The "cider ambassadors" were knowledgeable, but their presentation was not interesting. A group actually left in the middle of the tour. On a positive note, it is beautiful and I was surprised at how busy it was when we were finished with the tour. We had fresh made donuts that were the most delicious donuts ever! This review is for the Southern Tier Empty Bottle Distillery. It is located in the same complex as the brewery/Empty Pint Tap Room. We drove over because it was snowing but I’m thinking in the summer you could probably walk over. They had a cute small outdoor area that I’m sure would be awesome to try in the warmer weather. It is a cute little place with custom cocktails made from their own spirits. You could do a flight of cocktails or flights of spirits. They also had a couple of beers to choose from (which made the hubs happy). I think they also served wine. We did a flight of their most popular bourbons/whiskeys. Honestly they were all pretty good! I enjoy visiting this brewery every time I'm in business trip in the area as my company's office is at walking distance. Actually they are a tasting room where - for 10 bucks - you buy a small ( collectible ) glass you can use to sample five beers. The quality and the variety of their beers is absolutely amazing, it's great fun to discover new brews every time. The only negative points I can think about : - they serve no food ( but they allow to bring your own food inside ) - the place is a bit in the middle of nowhere ... you need a car to go back in town, you cannot enjoy too many beers without risking a DUI charge...See more..

The Blue Line Brewery is a new start-up in Saranac Lake and it is just what this town needs. Mark, the owner and brewer was great to talk to and very knowledgable about his brews. The sampling room was informal but a welcoming atmosphere. You can learn all about the brews on tap and have samples at no charge (so far). You can also purchase a growler of your favorite. Mine was the Black Fly IPA (what an Adirondack name). My wife enjoyed the 6er Ale. If you don't know what a 6er is, just ask. Good beer is now available in Saranac Lake! There are a number of restaurants in and around the Blue Line that are carrying these beers now. One more reason to love a trip to the Adirondacks.See more..

I have been visiting Indian Ladder Farms since I was a kid with my family. I still go at least once a year now and I love it just as much! Great cider donuts and apple cider, and always a fun place to be, especially with younger kids who will love to look at all the animals on the farm.
