  3. 4.0 Antique World Market (45 reviews)
    - Loved most of it
Wednesday: Antique Shops • Flea & Street Markets
    Antique World Market image
A great idea and I would love to see int he summer when it is not raining. Unfortunately antiquing in the wet is not fun. The first, main building we went into we were made to feel like lower class poor people who would not be able to buy anything. The blond womans exact words were " the lower price and cheap items you would be looking for are in the other buildings". How ignorant. Thankfully the people in the other buildings were so much nicer than this horrible excuse for a human. I will definately return to find some more excellent deals in the "lower costs, cheap sections for people like me". But will certainly not enter that persons store again. See more..

    - Lovely place to shop while passing through town
    Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
Glenwood Manor Antiques & More image
Stopped on our way through town at this lovely multi-dealer antique shop in a beautiful old home. Several stalls with a nice selection of jewelry, glass, etc. Three floors to browse. Very nice merchant at the front desk - Lawrence. The only section I did not care for was the back of the first floor - a gift shop section of new items, shabby chic signs, soaps, etc. Definitely did not fit the tone of the rest of the place. 7. 4.5 RHINEBECK ANTIQUE EMPORIUM (15 reviews)
    - A few minutes from the center of Rhinebeck...
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
    RHINEBECK ANTIQUE EMPORIUM image
A few minutes from the center of the Village, you'll find the Rhinebeck Antiques Emporium in a one story building with plenty of parking. There are fewer people than the Beekman Emporium, as most folks stopping in to check on "what's new that's old", are pretty much Collectors and those that appreciate what these pieces represent. Still, we have fun with "the hunt", for its that one or two pieces that speak to you, that makes the effort and time worth it! On this trip, my wife found a beautiful crystal oil and vinegar bottle set. It was exactly what she was hoping to find, a nice BD Gift for a good friend who is now "jazzed" about collecting in this space! If you already grabbed lunch, jump in your car and drive a few minutes and the hour or so, you'll spend, just may uncover new treasures! See more..

    - This is truly and experience.

    Lonergan's Antiques image
This is the most amazing shop…. A collection of EVERYTHING that you can imagine - old clothing, books, china, tools, artifacts from wars, canon balls, hinges, jewelry….and so much more. It will take patience to go through the rooms of items but if there is something that you are really looking for, Mr. Lonergan may just find it for you. My friend loves old books about Lake George and Mr. Lonergan found for her, a collection of old photos softly bound in a book for $45….. a real find. I am into post cards and I love to find old post cards that have been sent and post marked. He has them for $3-$5 (they are $10-$30 in other Lake George antique stores). I almost wanted to ask Mr. Lonergan if the Ralph Lauren folks regularly stop by to pick up unusual items to style their photo shoots. I would not be surprised. Just a caution, this is not a fancy curated store, but it is organized to some degree and patience will reward you. See more..

Double "thumbs up" for a diverse collection of well curated, fairly priced woodsy, Adirondack collectibles - clean & well presented with great visual interest & no mustiness. Makes for a fun adventure. Owner was welcoming, friendly and informative, telling us about her living atop the building as a young girl. Building is a fascinating antique itself (restaurant/club from the 1920's) with lots of stories to tell - amazing ceiling and wall murals, a stage used by musical performers of their day, and multiple dining rooms (front section used to have all stained glass windows of which only 1 remains) all are used to theatrically display loads of fun "stuff". Meander at your leisure - you will find something of interest, guaranteed! See more..

  50. 5.0 Bottle Shop Antiques (1 review)
    - GREAT UNIQUE FINDS --REASONABLE PRICES--EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IMAGINABLE
    Antique Shops
When on vacation my husband and I like to find old barns or places that have a lot of old, unusual Antiques and quirky things to browse thru. I stumbled upon Bottle Shop Antiques when searching things to do and boy what a find. This place was amazing, his stuff started at the end of the driveway and went all throughout his lawn on both sides, front and back of the barn and several rooms in the barn. Let me tell you it was pretty darn organized for as much stuff as he has. The owners name is Kevin and he told us he's been doing this since 1966. He has everything and anything you could possibly ever look for from bottles, doors, windows, metal things, saws, tools, buckets, furniture, books, records, etc etc etc the list could go on forever and his prices are very fair unlike the places that overcharge because they know a lot of visitors are from the NYC area and will spend a lot. He told us to start a pile and he would work out a price when we were done. We found 4 items my husband has been looking for, for a couple years and Kevin had them all at his place, SCORE !!!!! He is open everyday weather permitting and sometimes closes on Tuesdays so call to be sure he's there if going on a Tuesday or a rainy day. We had a lot of fun looking thru all his goodies you could spend hours looking at his stuff if you are a true collector. We also asked for a tool my husband wanted and didn't see and Kevin had it so SCORE TWICE......you may over look things as there is so much so don't be afraid to ask he knows where everything he has is even if you don't see it. It was a great experience he just lets you look as you wish and he doesn't bother you, you're on your own unless you have a question. See more..
