   I can't recommend The Crosspatch enough. Scheduling a ride was straightforward and easy. The horses were well-trained and easy for riders like myself with little to no experience. We did the 2 hour ride which was just the right length for us. Staff was knowledgable and friendly. See more..

   We stayed here to check out the facilities for horse boarding. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly, even inviting us to dinner. We elected to go to the nearby ski town for a selection of restaurants instead. The accommodations were rustic, and similar to staying at a friend's house instead of a luxury hotel. For example, the sheets were wrinkled with a home-style comforter thrown over (like at home), rather than white starched hotel sheets and the mattress felt a little worn. I would only recommend staying here if you are visiting to enjoy the wonderful ranch and its facilities; I would have higher expectations as a stand-alone B&B. See more..
