    Maybe I am biased as I went to college at Vassar. I love to stop by when I am in the area. With COVID, the campus is very quiet. I just love the beautiful architecture of the buildings, the intimate setting (everything is so walkable) and the beautiful Sunset Lake - such a great place to enjoy fall foliage! See more..

    On the grounds of Bard College, way in the back is Blithewood Manor. While the manor is not open to public, the grounds and gardens facing the Hudson River are. The gardens were very nice and the views of the Hudson were stunning. The house is also magnificent from the outside. Parking was easy and free. If you are in the area you should stop by. See more..
