    My wife and I arranged a two-day retreat at the Center of Renewal in late December 2021 to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary. (Yes, we were young newlyweds at Niagara Falls forty years ago!) We could not have celebrated our marriage any better than by making that retreat in such a peaceful environment. The grounds are well kept, even in the wintry time that we stayed there. I highly recommend spending time not only in the Center’s library and chapels, but also walking around the entire complex. A must-see on the grounds is the Avenue of the Stations of the Cross. Kudos to Justin, the master chef on staff. All meals that we had—breakfast, lunch, and supper—were delicious and seemed more like we were dining at a fancy Lewiston or Niagara Falls restaurant instead of a retreat house. Special note: ask for Justin’s “killer” mushroom soup! See more..
