    Greig Farm image
Greig Farm is a third-generation family farm located in Red Hook, NY. Our farm was founded in 1942 by Marion and Robert Greig, who began the farm with a small herd of dairy cows, an apple orchard, and a strawberry patch, which was open to the public. Their son, Norman Greig, began farming in 1975 and gradually added blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, pumpkins and other crops to the farm. We have always felt a responsibility to provide our community with a welcoming space and sustainably-grown, healthy produce. Our 1850s dairy barn was once home to seventy cows and today it is home to our farm market & cafe, a local craft market, and an art gallery. Our home is your home, and we look forward to the next 70 years in the Hudson Valley. See more..

    - Cute U-Pick farm and restaurant
Spent < 1 hour Farms • Farmers Markets
    Sanger Farms image
We thankfully happened upon this farm because we were searching for a u-pick place. This farm is ADORABLE! We ordered breakfast and it was delicious. They have plenty of tables for people to sit at and socially distance while eating. It was u-pick peaches and we picked 155 peaches for only $25! They have baskets (half bushel sized) and small bags in the store for collecting the fruit. They also have wagons for patrons to use in the orchards. While it wasnt apple picking season, they do have an apple orchard as well! The bakery items in the store looked delicious and it took a lot of self control not to just buy 1 of everything! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy drive from the Niagara Falls are! See more..

We've been visiting Meadowbrook Farm for years. We pick apples every year, and visit several times a year to feed the goats, chickens, and ducks. They sell huge bags of dried corn inside the market to feed the animals or you can buy a handful from a machine near the pens. We always get a pumpkin and take fall photos at the farm. The baked goods are great, and there is a variety of local products and produce. See more..

    - Sunday morning drive
    Farmers Markets
    Beacon Farmers Market image
Stopped by the flea market and farmers market on our way back from breakfast. The flea market was nothing special. The farmers market was small and to name a few vendors were a fish monger, wine, sorbet, local veggies, fresh cook falafel and chick kabobs, honey, and my best was the cheese lady from Cooperstown. Loved their cheeses and purchased two types of cow cheese for home. They also had a street performer playing a banjo. Pretty cool. See more..

  20. 5.0 Jewett’s Cheese House (2 reviews)
    - Best cheese in the world and amazing owners!!!!
Speciality & Gift Shops • Farmers Markets
Absolutely fantastic store!!! The two guys working the cheese counter were the nicest guys you could ever meet. Incredibly friendly, helpful and willing to give you as many samples of as many cheese you want! The only problem was that every cheese we tried was AMAZING!! We had such a hard time choosing which ones not to buy. The aged cheddars were to die for. The 13 year cheddar was great but the 24 year cheddar was like it was from another dimension. If you are within a couple hour drive you owe it to yourself to check this place out. See more..

We moved to Hyde Park a year ago and have been able to visit Hahn Farm a few times, including their "cut your own" Christmas tree sale. We like the meat products and the fresh-baked pies! - fantastic, great for kids
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Coffeehouses • Farmers Markets
    Love Apple Farm image
So, we went to the farm to pick berries and peaches in the morning on a very hot late July day. Our 2 year old and 4.5 year old loved this - there were dozens of frogs in the pond, a petting zoo with tolerant animals, and the fruit was absolutely delicious. The blueberries were probably the best I've ever had, the raspberries were almost gone but still very good. And the peaches that we picked were unripe when we picked them, but when they ripened they were fantastic. Highly recommended for the price, the produce, and the chill vibe. Normally I'm kind of eh about these things, but this one really stood out. I promise I'm not a bot! See more..
