After attempting to go to Niagara Falls and couldn't find a parking place and being amongst all the crowds wasn't appealing, we decided to go to a cidery. We found BlackBird Cider Works thru Google and thought it looked nice and peaceful. And we were right! The grounds and building are nice and clean. And the staff was very helpful. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside at a picnic table and shared both a dry and sweet flight and really enjoyed them. I had packed a cooler with some charcuterie and crackers so we got that out and it was perfect to go with our cider. Their prices are reasonable and we bought some four packs to take home. See more..

I've come to this place I come back "home" for a visit. I stock up on Maple syrup and granulated maple sugar. It's fairly easy to find with the GPS on most phones and cars now days. They sell local in-season produce besides their maple products. This year I messaged them on their Facebook page regarding the items that I wanted and told them when I would be there to pick them up. They had them ready and waiting for me. See more..
