    We feature fine wines, beers, and spirits complimented by custom meats and cheeses, breads and spreads, pastries and desserts. Minutes from Letchworth State Park in downtown Perry NY. Our more than 20 wines are available in 2oz, 5oz, 8oz, or bottle portions. Ration is located in the center of Perry's Main Street in a newly renovated pre-Civil War historic building. We are handicapped accessible, have cozy interior seating and a patio where you can enjoy the sound of water making its way from Silver Lake to the Genesee River. Ration features 16 wines and 5 beers and 1 cider on tap, bottled domestic beer, a curated collection of spirits and non-alcohol spirits, pour-over coffee, hot tea, and soda. We are 5 minutes from Letchworth State Park and Silver Lake, a short drive from Genesee Community College, SUNY Geneseo, Houghton, and Alfred Colleges, 1 hour from Buffalo, Rochester, and Corning, and 1.5 hours from Niagra Falls and the Finger Lakes.     When in the Finger Lakes region, one must partake in wine tasting. Our time was limited and we selected this vineyard which is south of the Finger Lakes. Yes it is a small vineyard but it has the range of varieties of grape wines and hard cider. I was impressed with the Cabernet Franc bringing home 2, my wife a bubbly Riesling.     This was an unexpected treat for us, as the wine bar was very near our hotel. We very much enjoyed our drinks at the bar twice. First, on a quiet afternoon visiting the well-designed comfortable spot behind a small shop, with a nice outdoor space adjacent. The second time, the bar was nearly full for a fun trivia night. It wouldn't normally be our thing, but we felt welcomed and ended up really enjoying the night (even if we lost badly). It's the kind of place anywhere would be lucky to have and we'd go back in a heartbeat next time we're in town. See more..

    Such a great experience! We walked in randomly (2 couples) and stayed for an hour, having the best time. We picked our scents, made our candles, named them, had a drink, and enjoyed great conversation with one of the owners. We walked out with our personalized candles, with a personalized label.
