- 5.0 Easy Tours (54 reviews)
-East Tours the best way to organize a private tour of India.
Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Multi-day Tours • Cultural Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours
We've taken two private tours organized by Easy Tours, and both were trips of a lifetime. The complex itineraries were brilliantly assembled, and everything went without a hitch: guides and chauffeurs were always there to meet us, take us to the superb hotels Easy Tours had booked, and accompany us on our visits to the various sites and monuments we wanted to see. The guides booked by Easy Tours were all at the top of their game, as knowledgeable as they were lively and charming. India is one of the greatest countries on earth, replete with countless wonders of art and culture, but it's also vast, and it can be difficult to get from place to place and see everything one wants to see. But with East Tours, everything proves possible. We're already looking forward to our third trip to India. See more..

- 5.0 Bone Spirits Distillery (51 reviews)
-Quality products and good times
Distilleries
Smithville has a true gem on their hands with the Bone brand right in the heart of this sleepy little town. The small distillery was an afternoon activity for us as we were interested in their sampling of vodka, gin, moonshine and whiskey. The owner was funny, informative and passionate about their distillery's process and the upstairs tasting room was lovingly fashioned by him as well. He made the bar, benches and light fixtures! We loved the gin and purchased a bottle of the moonshine after a tasting of his peach moonshine cocktail. Can I get a yee-haw?!? Great time, great booze. See more..

This was my very first trip to Caddo Lake! It was an awesome experience and nothing that I had ever seen before. Rich uses a pontoon boat which was very comfortable, and we were able to move around to take pictures. He gave us the history on how this particular lake was formed and some of its struggles through the years. I am thankful for those who have worked to keep it so natural. Our next tour will be in the Fall, and we are looking forward to it. I would recommend this tour & Rich. See more..

- 5.0 Harber Wildlife Museum (45 reviews)
-What a Treasure for North Texas!!!
Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Speciality Museums
My Grandson and I were looking for something to do after I picked him up from school on a rainy afternoon. We decided to stop by the newly opened Harber Wildlife Museum for a visit. Children 12 years and younger are free while there is a small fee for everyone over 12 years of age. I am not a fan of looking at stuffed or mounted animals but this exhibit is very well done and is very educational. The displays make you feel like you are actually there. The museum shows the animals and cultures that Dorothy and Lacy Harber encountered during their travels around the world, while stressing conservation and education. There is a small gift area selling T-shirts and etc. The museum should take less than an hour to visit, but there is a video that loops in a viewing room that is about 2 hours long if it is watched. Take your time and enjoy the exhibits, we are glad we did. Travel Safe_JAGIN. See more..
- 5.0 Zedler Mill (45 reviews)
-Beautiful Wedding Spot!
Speciality Museums
We attended a friend's wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! The couple got married by the river as guests watched on stone benches that are tiered down the hill. There is a pavilion close to the clubhouse that is perfect for bartenders to set up. The reception was held in the clubhouse (which has a full kitchen). After the sun went down, they opened the doors (outside walls of the clubhouse) and let the cool breeze blow through. It was an excellent place for an outdoor wedding. I'd like to go back and have a picnic! See more..

Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • State Parks
Standing atop a remote windswept hill, the weathered remains of an old western fort beckon curious visitors to the site General Sherman once described as the prettiest post in Texas. Established in 1852, Fort McKavett housed various infantry and cavalry units, including companies from the four regiments of Buffalo Soldiers. Today, the 19 surviving structures exemplify one of the best and most intact Texas Indian Wars posts. Walk the parade grounds that once echoed with barked commands and bugle calls, while viewing spectacular Hill Country vistas. See more..
- 5.0 Dolphin Connection (42 reviews)
-This is an amazing trip!
Tuesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Swim with Dolphins
The boat only holds six passengers, so it is very personal and up close. You are right at the water level, and no fighting a big crowd to get to the rail. We went on the Extreme Dolphin Tour, and while it wasn't physical tasking, we did get wet from some big waves we went straight through! We were made aware that we would get wet, so it was just part of the fun! Captain Kelly kept us aware of the details via text, and Captain Pat took us out on the water. He had a fun sense of humor but also educated us about dolphins without it sounding like a lecture. My nephew and another kid on the boat were allowed to steer for a while, and learn a little about navigation as they did it. They were both thrilled by the experience. And the best part? We saw DOZENS of dolphins!! Some close, some further away, but all beautiful! It was just an amazing trip, and we hope to do it again anytime we come back. The customer service was top notch and the experience couldn't have been any better! See more..

- 5.0 Teach 'Em to Fish (42 reviews)
-5 minutes of instruction and caught Big Daddy!
Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
Barry taught me to catch big bass in 5 minutes!!! We live on a pond and I've caught maybe 3 Bluegill the entire time I've fished here. I love fishing and even getting a nibble or two is exciting for me. 5 minutes after getting some professional instruction, a few simple gear changes and knowledge of where fish like to hide and I caught the biggest bass I've EVER seen!!! Dropped my pole and pulled the line in by hand so I wouldn't lose it, lol. This was a monster! Then cast 2nd and 3rd time and caught 2 more. Little brothers, I'm guessing. Y'ALL, this guy knows his stuff. He's pleasant, incredibly patient and loves to teach. Thank you Barry! I'm HOOKED for life!!! See more..

-Fantastic place to come see!!!
Tuesday: Wineries & Vineyards
This is a north East Texas must stop. We were passing through the DFW area on our way to Texoma and, liking to get off the beaten path, found this place. We had the opportunity to visit with the owners as well as a couple of others while we were there. Fantastic people! We MUST get back when they can fully open post COVID! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I wanted to just sit out on the patio and stay till late in the evening. To bad that’s just not in the cards right now. So we settled for some of Ray’s Red wine (grown right there!!! ) and a Tempranillo Both Great wines. AND. We hear the owner plays guitar and a friend of theirs sings. We gotta catch this dig sometime! We will definitely be coming back again..... maybe on the way back???? See more..

- 5.0 Hill County Courthouse (38 reviews)
-Beautiful Old Courthouse
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Government Buildings
Well I don't really know how much of the courthouse is original, however I do recall the fire which destroyed the building. They have done an outstanding job in restoration. We just made a drive by and did not go inside. We used to go to Hillsboro quite often to the Outlet Mall however many of those shops have closed as we noted this past week end. Looks like we may be ending that shopping trip unless something drastically happens to the shops. A trip to Hillsboro to see the old courthouse would be worth one's time. See more..

- 5.0 Granbury Doll House Inc (32 reviews)
-Worth your time to visit, haunted or not. But it is!
Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
The Granbury Doll Museum has a magnificent collection of dolls from around the world. Over 2500 dolls! It is definitely worth your time and donation to visit, haunted or not. But it is! I never felt anything negative, but there was a lot of activity the night I was invited to join Texas RIP Team to investigate. For me, the highest concentration of energy was the stairs and the rooms to each side of the kitchen. There is a beautiful blonde, green-eyed doll standing guard at the kitchen doll. A mischievous boy doll with a big smile on his face, who seemed delighted we were there, calls the top of the refrigerator home. There were many confirmations to questions asked using various paranormal equipment. The spirits are very happy with Barbara and Jane who run the museum. I can’t wait to go back to spend time looking at the many doll filled rooms. Teal L. Gray See more..
