Great place. Was there as adult even before lights up!

I think the playscape is great. They've updated it throughout the years. Even ramps to access it around side. My kids loved it - and We adults actually had some fun right before they out lights up hiding out there wi our kids. The fenced area makes it safe to watch out that kids stay in too

    Fun play spot
My grands, all 5 and under, had a good time climbing. It’s not huge, but it’s a good spot to burn off some energy.

Completely re-done, innovative (and easy access to I-35!)
The Creative Playscape, just north of downtown Georgetown, offers a lot of innovative fun for the preschool/early elementary aged crowd. The park, recently renovated with community input,, offers several play areas themed around different eras in local history. It's easy to find from I-35, so it's not just a good visit for local families, it's also not bad if your kids need to run off energy while on a road trip. The park is fenced, with just an opening at the front entrance (not gated). There are some areas where line-of-sight is severely limited, so do watch out if your kids like to run. There's a train area (with a whistle kids can operate), climbing areas integrated around local art, lots of bongo drums, swings (baby, accessible, and regular), a native-american area, and even a calf statue (which my kids like to try to feed). There's a covered area with benches good for snack time. There's more shade than you might expect, but it can (obviously) still get hot there in the Texas sun. Overall, I'm very impressed with this play area. A few small things could be better, but it's still worth a drive to visit.
