Great find in the Hill Country!
What a great find! We happened upon the Desert Door Distillery while on our way to the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood and decided to stop in. We are so very glad that we did. Desert Door serves their distilled spirit from wild-harvested sotol plants which is similar to tequila. We sat on their outside patio to enjoy a very impressive band. The atmosphere and drinks were very nice and the service that Alyssa provided was exceptional. If you are looking for something new to do in the Hill Country, be sure to add the Desert Door to your itinerary. We will be back!

Through the Roof
Great staff and good people. I liked the gradual taste the sotol gave off. It is a fine work of art to see the distillery in action. As for the taste, I got a subtle hint of earthy pine woods. The staff were great as I enjoyed the whole experience. Plus, there is a food truck on the side.
