We hired a Pontoon for the afternoon and it was great. Plenty of room for our party of 7 and easy to steer the boat. Toilet and Esky on board as well as the BBQ. Michael & his staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible as we wanted to start later and bring the boat back later than the advertised time which was no problem for them. If you want to swim I would advise bringing the boat close to the shore as the current is very fast and my husband was nearly swept away! Entirely his fault for not listening to the instructions properly. I highly recommend this as a great way to spend an afternoon with a group of friends or family. It was lovely having a few drinks and snacks moored in a quiet spot looking onto Mount Warning as the sun was getting lower in the sky.See more..

My husband and I went on the “Picnic Afloat” Sunset tour with 8 other people. It was an experience we will remember for all the right reasons. The staff from Tweed Eco Cruises made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the boat and everything was very well organised. Great decor, delicious food, and perfectly chilled complimentary bubbles sitting in ice waiting for us. We were lucky with the weather as it was a sunny day with light winds so cruising along the river with music playing in the background was a delight! The colours on the river at sunset with Mt Warning in the background was magical. All our friends are still talking about the great experience they had on the cruise and can’t wait until they do another one. Such a relaxing, fun thing to do! I highly recommend it.See more..

My family and I hired 3 double kayaks and 1 single kayak for 2 hours. It was a great experience and super easy to organise last minute. James gave us a thorough introduction talk at the beginning, letting us know where to go, which way the current was flowing and spots to check out while kayaking. It was a lovely spot for kayaking and 2 hours was the perfect amount of time for us.See more..

A mate and I hired 2 paddle boards for a hour to go around the island and have some exercise/time outside during lockdown. Rob was super professional, friendly and made us feel welcome. He got us fitted with some good size and easy to use boards, got us into the water, and gave us the ins and outs as well as where we could ride. Overall, such great value for money and excellent customer service. Would recommend and will be back!!See more..

Loved every minute!! Did a tour with a group of friends and my 11yr old daughter. We all had the best time! Was so relaxing paddling along, chatting, laughing, spotting wildlife, enjoying the amazing views. We booked 90mins, so we could try all water fun craft if we wanted to ... and we did. So we had time on the paddle boards, the kayaks and the pedal boats. We called ahead and asked if we could have our dog with us - they said yes. Our dog was fantastic in both the kayaks and on the stand up paddle boards. It was one of the highlights of our trip up to the Central Coast during the October school holidays. THE BEST part of the experience was the staff. It was the Monday Labour Day public holiday and they were SO BUSY, but the staff remained calm, unfazed and handled the huge demand brilliantly. We had a break between sessions, and enjoyed a picnic on the grass between 'rides'. Be calm and patient, and you will be looked after.See more..
I highly recommend this place. You can hire rods, buy bait and snacks as well. There’s usually plenty of parking. You can also go for a picnic, and they’ve got BBQ boats, too (I always hire a half cabin so we can fish, have a picnic and get some shade). For about $60 all up, four people can spend an hour on the water in a boat with a small cabin, with bait and a couple of rods included. It gets cheaper for more hours if you feel like being out longer.See more..

What a great day! Thanks to the lovey lady who allowed us to pay, sign in and do all the paperwork and then get 2 families organised with supplies, sunscreen etc before our timed hour actually started. The young guys were great fitting us out in life jackets and helping all of us into single and double kayaks - which meant the younger kids started paddling with confidence as soon as we hit the water. Navigating the sand banks, watching the fish, and stopping for a swim towards the beach made for a fun time on the water. We were a little late back - but no additional charge which topped off an awesome first time at The Entrance Boat Shed. We’ll be back!See more..

Eleven members of Picnic Point Fishing Club hired the BBQ Boat Saucy Seagull on 27 March 2022. Despite the indifferent weather we had an excellent experience and a very good bag of flathead and bream too. The operators of Tea Gardens BBQ boats were personable and profesional in the extrme. Despite having 11 people paying individualy and using ServiceNSW vouchers to deal with, payment and embarkation were completed without a problem in a manner of minutes. The Saucy Seagull handled eleven of us very comfortably, even with eight of us fishing. She is obviously quite new and has been carefully maintained. The BBQ facility was spotlessly clean and worked without a problem. All necessary BBQ tools were at hand and the burners and plates worked very efficiently. The toilet was up to the same standards. The boat ran perfectly and is quite easy to navigate and the rate of hire is very reasonable. We have hired similar (though less modern) craft in Sydney and paid almost twice as much.See more..

Booking over the phone was simple and informative. On the day Shane was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to best fishing spots in the local area. Upon arrival we were given an excellent detailed explanation on using the boat and safe boating when on the waterways. My partner and I felt very comfortable operating the boat.
