We took a day trip to Junee from Temora and headed here for lunch after visiting the Rail Museum. The café was very popular and so quite a queue to order our coffee and lunch (fish and chips and burger). Coffees arrived within around 20 mins, but the food took over an hour. Little stressful as we had already booked on the afternoon talk. Thankfully, we could wait in a lovely garden sitting. Went to the 1:30pm talk which was very interesting and included some tastings including licorice root powder. Bought two small sampler boxes of chocolate licorice and a 5-pack of Australian Single Malt Whisky which is locally made. Finally, we bought a jar of Whisky Marmalade! See more..

Decided to head to Corowa whilst on a road trip because of this place & it did not disappoint. Went for breakfast which was perfect, great food & coffee, staff were great & attentive. The work that has gone into the building & business provides a wonderful atmosphere & is a credit to the owners for undertaking such a massive restoration & rejuvenation of what was left derelict. We will return for sure. See more..

Our tour was at 11am and it cost $5, money well spent. Nick our tour guide is also the owner and he spoke of his passion for the craft and about his lifetime of textile experience. We had a comprehensive tour of the workings of the mill and the complete process from raw wool to the finished dyed yarn. To see the machinery working was amazing and to think that unless government funding becomes available to keep the mill going it could disappear into history and be just another manufacturer who has closed and 'gone away' never to return. It is worth the trip to Nundle just to visit the Woollen Mill and you may also like to purchase a beautiful woollen garment to remind you of your visit. We did. See more..

Amazing selection of cheeses all made on site. There is a viewing window to watch the workers make the cheese. Very generous with sampling, staff were very friendly, happy to have you try any cheese you like. The chilli, wasabi and peppercorn were the winners for me. They didn’t last long at home. See more..

Very friendly and helpful lady explained the processes involved in candle making. You can watch candles in the process of being made. Unique. Candles were extremely well priced with a myriad of different colors and sizes. Great gift ideas too. We bought heaps of different candles and will order our future needs online as we aren’t local. Second visit here but first time for lunch. My husband had the bacon and eggs breakfast plate and I had a bacon and egg roll. Both meals were good the prices were good, service was ok. Last time we were here we had looked at purchasing cheese but thought the prices were really high so we didn't bother this time. See more..
