This trip was amazing! Great boat and it was really easy to hook on and get towed while watching wild dolphins came around you. We had 3 turns in the water. Amazing helpful young crew and they were very knowledgeable and safety conscious. Great brunch as well, and we got the fantastic pics. Professional video of the swim is included in the price! Our 8 yr old granddaughter came with us and was able to participate with the swim and really enjoyed the day.See more..
While visiting Wee Jasper we also went to Careys Cave. This was a guided tour lead by the amazing tour guide Geoff. Nelson Bay Golf Club tour was sensational, the desk Lady was super kind and helpful. Max, our guide, was very knowledgeable and provided information about the history of the tour and the Gold Club! We got to see lots of Eastern Grey Kangaroos and beautiful Ausie native birds like Mac-pies, Galahs and colourful Rosellas. Max also explained insights about plants and the relationship with our Aboriginal people. We loved the tour and highly recommend it to everyone!!See more..

Dom was wonderful, taking us right to the Whale Expressway to witness the majestically beautiful mammals playfully pass & play whilst they migrated north. A perfect day! We fed pelicans, went fishing, learnt about oyster farming and crabs, pulled up crab nets and went yabby pumping. Even in the rain it was fantastic fun! The boat is lovely and it is an easy trip around the estuary. We finished with lunch at the restaurant, I had the best mud chilli crab I have ever had, and I lived in Singapore! So much meat! Everyone on the boat was so lovely too! The kids had fish and chips, they are fish bites which was a little odd and the kids didn't like that, so I would probably had preferred to buy adult fish and chips and divide them for the kids. Our two boys had their first surf lesson with Joe this morning. Joe was very friendly and took great care of the boys (11 & 13) they really enjoyed it and were up on their boards, surfing! We went on the sunrise beach ride and I have to say, it was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had although we were fortunate enough to have a small group of similar abilities and the most picture perfect sunrise! Zephyr itself is a really nice organisation (and I’ve tried most around the area). The horses are happy and well looked after, the guides are lovely and the scenery is beautiful. The sunrise beach to forest rides seem a bit pricey but are really worth it. They also take loads of photos to give you at the end which is a cute touch and very much appreciated!See more..

Our family and friends family went on a sunset family kayak tour with Matt today and it exceeded all expectations. Matt is not only a knowledgeable tour guide but also a super team leader! He’s very familiar with local natures and creatures and every stop there were fun facts and activities (won’t tell you here to keep as a surprise, hahaha). My family and I hired 3 double kayaks and 1 single kayak for 2 hours. It was a great experience and super easy to organise last minute. James gave us a thorough introduction talk at the beginning, letting us know where to go, which way the current was flowing and spots to check out while kayaking. It was a lovely spot for kayaking and 2 hours was the perfect amount of time for us.See more..
What a wonderful morning on the water with Jen! The first sign that we were going to be well looked after came when Jen called the day before we were to paddle to suggest delaying a day if possible based on the weather forecast. It turned out to be fantastic advice as we went a day later and enjoyed the most sublime weather. Jen was a lovely guide and provided interesting facts about the flora and fauna as well as an update on the recovery of the area following the bushfires. The kayaking equipment was excellent and Jen made novice paddlers feel very comfortable on the water. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. See more..

Such a fabulous experience paddling around the Myall Lakes Tea Gardens with Darren. My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. The double kayak was very comfortable and ‘top of the range’ with backrests and plenty of room. Extremely stable too. Darren has an extremely relaxed and helpful manner.. with great attention to safety and was extremely knowledgeable about this area... in terms of history and also water and weather conditions. We stopped on one of the islands for a morning tea break. We so enjoyed this and can highly recommend to all who visit Tea Gardens. Thanks Darren. See more..

Icould,nt pick a favourite part of our 4day Lake Eyre and Wilpena Pound Tour, it was all amazing, Linda was our guide and she was a wealth of knowledge. The scenery and the food and the history was great. she really looked after us. Liz was the tour guide in the other vehicle, these women were great drivers , we had a very comfortable trip, Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about our history and see the outback. 10 out of 10. I booked this hike as a surprise Christmas present for my husband and it was everything I'd hoped it would be... and more. Our hosts, Cam & Tess, ensured everyone in the group had a great time. It was fabulous to carry only our day packs and our accommodation in one of the old Keepers' cottages at Green Cape Lighthouse was brilliant - hot showers, comfy beds and pillows and fabulous meals prepared by Tess using local produce. The scenery was spectacular and it was wonderful to see the National Park recovering well after the recent bushfires. The contrast of the blackened tree trunks with the lush green undergrowth only added to its beauty. Swimming in the pristine waters at Saltwater Creek and Bittangabee Bay at the end of each day's hike was simply superb. It really is a beautiful and untouched part of Australia and we loved every minute of it. See more..

If you want the most amazing experience then we recommend booking a trike tour with Max. We did the Megalong Valley ride which started when he picked us up at The Carrington Hotel and kitted us out in helmets & warm leather jackets, strapped us into our seatbelts and away we went! Down around Scenic World, out to Narrow Neck then hugging the cliffs as we headed west to Blackheath before dropping down through the rainforest into the valley. Nothing was too much trouble. Max made sure we were comfortable and saw everything. We stopped at great vantage points and had lots of photos, as well as great conversations. We thoroughly enjoyed this walk and Karen and Phil of Yuraygir Walking Experiences were great for both organising and helping us, put into action a wonderful fun adventure. These two kind and friendly local people had a great sense of humour and endless stories. Our trip was always much more enjoyable when we adhered to their wise advice, like reversing the route on the last day to take into account the winds and tides. It’s a magnificent part of Australia... photos do it much more justice than our words ... and Yuraygir Walking Experiences really did make it a magic trip. It was money well spent. Colin and Trish were very helpful when we were deciding to purchase a kayak, we were new to kayaking and Colin met us at the Broadwater at Gosford where we tried a few different types of kayaks. This is a new business offering walking tours of Scott's Head and the nearby Natioal Park. Belinda walked our family around Scott's Head for two hours, telling tradional stories of the Gumbaynggir people, explaining their Creation myth and the significance of the area from ancient times. Belinda was very knowledgeable on bush tucker and medicine and showed us an amazing fish trap. We really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about indigenous culture and country. The retreat has some fine secluded camping areas that are scattered throughout the property for those type of independent & fully contained campers. The property has plenty of 4wd tracks ranging from Easy all the way up to Extreme that will test the skill level of the most ardent driver, for Emu Creek since 1992 has held many professional 4wd competitions and goes by the title of Australia's original home of "Rock crawling". The facilities in the main camping area near the main office are well maintained with large undercover area with a couple of powered sites. If you do not want to partake in any 4wding along the many tracks, you can sit around the camp and enjoy the natural surrounding by the meandering creek.See more..
