Glen , the owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with and handled my many changes and multiple requested with professionalism and positive attitude. He was very flexible with us and on the day of the hire gave us the opportunity to cancel as it was raining. We didn't cancel and rode around in the rain which was fine - the bikes were in a really good condition and easy to use! We were given a map and lots of suggestions which were very helpful. After we gave the bikes back we did some wine tasting at the winery on site and bought some lovely Chardonnay too. I had the best afternoon SUPing on the Brunswick River yesterday. I was lucky enough to be the only one booked on the tour, and my guide Darcy was very friendly, informative and made sure I had fun. He took lots of photos for me too, which I really appreciated. It was so peaceful gliding through the mangroves, and we saw pelicans, other water birds, fish and stingrays. Phil was great in accommodating my needs as a deaf person. He agreed to meet me earlier than usual so that we could set up communication strategies as I took my hearing aid off for the kayak trip. The sunset trip was great with the group with changes of scenery & terrain from ruffled waters to stark still waters mirroring the sunset. Phil was able to point out the various birds of prey, grey herons & the prawn/shrimping vessels setting off at dusk, & took videos of us & shared with us at no extra cost and to cap it all, we saw 5 grey kangaroos with a joey in one of the pouches as we landed! Such a fabulous experience paddling around the Myall Lakes Tea Gardens with Darren. My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. The double kayak was very comfortable and ‘top of the range’ with backrests and plenty of room. Extremely stable too. Darren has an extremely relaxed and helpful manner.. with great attention to safety and was extremely knowledgeable about this area... in terms of history and also water and weather conditions. I highly recommend this place. You can hire rods, buy bait and snacks as well. There’s usually plenty of parking. You can also go for a picnic, and they’ve got BBQ boats, too (I always hire a half cabin so we can fish, have a picnic and get some shade). For about $60 all up, four people can spend an hour on the water in a boat with a small cabin, with bait and a couple of rods included. I took my daughter an young grandchildren for a paddleboat on the lake and Big Trev was amazing accomodating and helpful. He engaged well with the kids and involved them whenever he could. Lifejackets were included for the little ones too. I believe there are turtles that feed on the seaweed and dolphins that play in the harbour...but unfortunately we didn't see them on our visit. Trev also entertained the kids with a magic trick and showed them how to call and feed the fish. We had a great day, made even better by his generosity and kindness....and the Dad jokes!See more..

What a great day! Thanks to the lovey lady who allowed us to pay, sign in and do all the paperwork and then get 2 families organised with supplies, sunscreen etc before our timed hour actually started. The young guys were great fitting us out in life jackets and helping all of us into single and double kayaks - which meant the younger kids started paddling with confidence as soon as we hit the water. Navigating the sand banks, watching the fish, and stopping for a swim towards the beach made for a fun time on the water. We went on a guided kayaking tour on the Cudgegong River with a group of ten other adventurers. John and Cindy were very friendly and gave us a clear demonstration on safety and what to expect on the tour. Cindy was an awesome guide who gave us lots of interesting information about the history of the area, especially about the Wiradjuri who are the traditional owners of the land in the Capertee Valley, as well as the construction of the dam in the 1930s. My partner and I spent some time over the Summer holidays camping around beautiful Minnie Water. We both surf and have our own boards but only usually during the Summer months when it’s warmer. We booked an intermediate surf lesson with Cam & Ossy to try and step up our surfing abilities as we usually just catch white water waves. The waves were really fun with small peeling waves out the front of the Minnie Water general store. We were shown different techniques and immediate feedback of our own surfing. By the end of the lesson we were able to catch and trim on the face of green waves as well starting to bottom turn. We were stoked! Cam & Ossy were both super helpful and friendly.
