As other reviewers have said, the Honey Place is probably in need of a bit of a makeover, as I don't think the place has seen much in the way of change for many years. Still, it was worth a stop for a free tasting (and then purchase) of some honey, and have a look at that internal workings of their one on-site bee hive. Had a worrying chat with the owner about the dire risks from the varroa virus - though I also learnt the virus only affects the European honey bees, and not our native Australian bees. Unfortunately, though, it seems our native Australians are not particularly productive when it comes to making honey.See more..

I recently went here with my family for fish and chips one night while camping at Mystery Bay and it was probably the closest town to the campground and it was such an eventfull afternoon, We went to to a fish and chips shop (I don’t remember the name sorry)Then we went to the local gelato store at about 6:00 and the veiw of the wharf and the mountain at the back was beautiful, my neice wanted to go fishing but unfortunately we didnt have a boat. We also went to the park next to the dock and my brother went on the flying fox and he flew of it when it stopped . Overall it was very fun and beautiful, My nephew and neices really enjoyed it so I definitely recommend going here with children aged 12-5!See more..

The Lindt Chocolate Factory Outlet has been open less than 2 weeks, and is a fantastic addition to western Sydney. The outlet shop is open 10am - 6pm every day, with free parking on site. There is a huge variety of Lindt ball chocolates, many that I hadn't heard of before e.g. Lemon, Spring, champagne, strawberries and cream, coconut, dark orange. They have great specials on the chocolates here, with eftpos facilities as well. There is no cafe here, purely chocolate shopaholic heaven.See more..

What a delightful experience it was going to the Opal Cave in Lightening Ridge. There is a huge variety of opals all at very reasonable prices. I bought a gorgeous ring and pendant. Sandy was amazing, so friendly, helpful and patient! We spent quite a while happily trying on different pieces and chatting to the fabulous staff. It’s definitely worth a visit. Robs Bus Tour in White Cliffs was the best $50 I have spent in a long time. He has been in White Cliffs for a long time and knows everything there is to know about the place. He is very informative and quite entertaining as well. White Cliffs is a small place and we were amazed at how much there was to see. We sent to the solar installation which was interesting and went to a dig out (which is a private residence). There was just so much to see. I would highly recommend this tour.See more..

The tasting session was great, not only due to the exceptional array of wines available but primarily due to the enthusiasm of Guillermo, sommelier extraordinaire! We were not expecting a Columbian at a winery in the Canberra district, given that country is not known for wine, but we left better for the experience. We did the $8 plantation tour, which is a small walking tour of the tea plants and the factory where it all happens. Our guide, Margo, was just brilliant. She was super friendly and very keen to share her wide knowledge of tea and the plantation. They are building what seems to be a small tea house, where you will be able to sit and have a tea and scones after your tour and taste their variety of tea.
