My husband and I went on the “Picnic Afloat” Sunset tour with 8 other people. It was an experience we will remember for all the right reasons. The staff from Tweed Eco Cruises made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the boat and everything was very well organised. Great decor, delicious food, and perfectly chilled complimentary bubbles sitting in ice waiting for us. We were lucky with the weather as it was a sunny day with light winds so cruising along the river with music playing in the background was a delight! The colours on the river at sunset with Mt Warning in the background was magical. All our friends are still talking about the great experience they had on the cruise and can’t wait until they do another one. Such a relaxing, fun thing to do! I highly recommend it.See more..

Following our safety brief we filled our tank with livies in minutes, that had us motoring in his 400hp Contender to grounds in comfort. No time wasted, this serious weapon kicks butt smoothly. Miami Vice eat your hearts out! Fishing started out lean and the weather was not helping. Jason kept varying attack and adapting till we filled our bags leaving everyone grinning. Mark and his wife do an excellent job firstly booking you in with ease on the charter you would like. Mark gets his boat on the reef quickly and sets up a great morning of fishing. All his tackle is in good condition and plenty of fish are caught by everyone. Hot drinks and snacks party pies and sausage rolls are served during the morning. His knowledge of the reefs and also the landmarks and history of eden is great. If your after a great non crowed fishing charter/whale watching experience I would highly recommend freedom charters. This was our second trip with them but definitely not our last.See more..

My son and I had an awesome day out with Leigh yesterday. Started the morning catching a heap of live bait before getting amongst the Kingies....so many huge kingfish landed...everyone went home with plenty of good quality fish. I've been out with Leigh on his charters many times and he never disappoints ! A great skipper and a real nice bloke too. His deckhand Charlie does a great job looking after the crew and cleaning the fish on the return journey. Highly recommended.See more..

The request was for a three hour trip to catch flatheads and Craig and his crew delivered. The two 8 and two 10 year olds rated it as "awesome" and got tired of pulling in fish. The guys were so attentive and we appreciated that Craig moved around to keep it interesting. Overall got over 50 flatheads with 20 keepers and a great feed for tonight. Thanks guys! See more..
This was a surprise birthday present for my partner Andrew, and this is probably one of the best holidays we have ever shared, together with my girlfriend Beryl. Tumut was the perfect place for us, the setting along the rivers where Tony took us were exceptional and some of the most stunning scenery I have seen in Australia. And Tony really made such an effort to make our lessons exceptional, and they were. We spent 2 days learning to cast and tie knots and basic river craft, and we felt it was only scratching the surface. We will be back and can't wait. We have been on this charter for the last 10 years straight and couldn't fault them one little bit over the last 10 years. The skipper Robert is fantastic!! He gives you the option each morning of what species you would like to target for the day and absolutely succeeds in putting you on the target species. With this years trip we had the added bonus of catching some really good pelagic species. Skipper Robert always goes above and beyond to ensure that you have a very successful day out on the water. I spent 2 days on the "Tru-dee V" game fishing for Marlin and it was truly a Bucket List experience. The knowledge, commitment and shear determination to hook up and land Marlin was world class and I am sincerely grateful. I have fished on many charter boats, in a number of countries, and these guys are the best by far. If you are contemplating a Game fishing experience 1. Bermagui is the place to do it and 2. What a wonderful morning spent with Matt from South West Rocks Estuary Charters exploring the waterways of the Macleay River. The weather was perfect and the scenery was glorious. Great commentary on the local area while we made away around the inlets. A cheeky Brahminy Kite followed the boat until Matt throw some fish to her while she showed us her ‘fishing skills’. To top of the morning just as we heading back to shore we spotted a pair of dolphins. Thanks Matt for a great tour. See more..
