We took our 17 month old and 12 year old on the lake cruise, the experience we got was amazing and the crew were so friendly and professional. The knowledge they have on the area was so insightful. This trip was amazing! Great boat and it was really easy to hook on and get towed while watching wild dolphins came around you. We had 3 turns in the water. Amazing helpful young crew and they were very knowledgeable and safety conscious. Great brunch as well, and we got the fantastic pics. Professional video of the swim is included in the price! Our 8 yr old granddaughter came with us and was able to participate with the swim and really enjoyed the day.See more..

What a day, we had multiple sightings of these beautiful creatures during our trip. We had 2 whales who came alongside the boat and put in a show for us, wonderful! The marina was easy to get to, viewing from the boat was fantastic and the captain was funny. Would definitely recommend this tour, the added bonus is that is leaves from Tweed Heads, no need to go to the other end of the Gold Coast for a whale watching tour.See more..

I booked the day tour for myself & two friends who were all visiting Nelson Bay for a girls weekend away. Christine was quick to respond & answer any questions I had from the first time I made contact. She came all the way out to Nelson Bay to pick us up, took us to some great wineries, was super accommodating when we requested an additional stop to a winery that was not on the itinerary for the day & also did a McDonalds stop for us on the way home too! Christine knows the area very well & also has a great relationship with every place we visited. I would highly recommend Christine & Heavenly Tours to anyone wanting a great day out in the Hunter & have already told my Aunt, whose house we were staying in, that she needs to book Christine for a wine tour the next time she is up at her house in the Bay! Mark and his wife do an excellent job firstly booking you in with ease on the charter you would like. Mark gets his boat on the reef quickly and sets up a great morning of fishing. All his tackle is in good condition and plenty of fish are caught by everyone. Hot drinks and snacks party pies and sausage rolls are served during the morning. His knowledge of the reefs and also the landmarks and history of eden is great. If your after a great non crowed fishing charter/whale watching experience I would highly recommend freedom charters. This was our second trip with them but definitely not our last.See more..

The request was for a three hour trip to catch flatheads and Craig and his crew delivered. The two 8 and two 10 year olds rated it as "awesome" and got tired of pulling in fish. The guys were so attentive and we appreciated that Craig moved around to keep it interesting. Overall got over 50 flatheads with 20 keepers and a great feed for tonight. Thanks guys! See more..

Best deep sea fishing charter in town! Noel and Phil are local fishing legends, not only did they know all the good spots, but they are the nicest guys you could come across. They went above and beyond to make your day enjoyable. Everyone caught so many fish and they even scaled and cleaned them for you to take home. The boat was new and handled chop well. I felt safe being onboard, especially having two very experienced skippers. The whole day was fantastic, there were Dolphins jumping right out of the water and plenty of fish.
