   Our family and friends family went on a sunset family kayak tour with Matt today and it exceeded all expectations. Matt is not only a knowledgeable tour guide but also a super team leader! He’s very familiar with local natures and creatures and every stop there were fun facts and activities (won’t tell you here to keep as a surprise, hahaha).    For just a gold coin donation you can spend as little or as much time as you like wandering around the old Cowra Railway yards which is home for the Lachlan Valley Railway Society. I nice gentleman opened up the olden day passenger railway carriages for us to look at. It brought back so many memories of travelling on these in my youth. There’s the fabulous turntable which is huge and at the end of each track sits a range of both steam and diesel engines. There is enough work to keep these dedicated volunteers going for years and years. So glad they are keep our railway history alive. See more..
