We booked a table for a New Year's Eve brunch in the Cafe. The staff were so friendly, efficient and courteous despite the influx of people and the long lines of people. Some people chose to abuse the staff for the 'lack' of staff and for having to wait so long! We were nothing but impressed how the adequate staff took the abuse still with a smile on their face and worked flat-out and efficiently. Despite the amount of people, the food was served quickly and was scrumptious. We have never been disappointed with The Milk Factory Cafe or Restaurant and come back here often. How can you not love a place that has cats? I booked the Kittyland experience and had the joy of meeting 6 rambunctious tabby kittens. So happy to hear that Catmosphere runs an adoption program and is successful at adopting out the kittens. They also spay and neuter them when they come of age. The decor was so cute. I was lucky to be the only booked in my time slot so I had all the kittens to myself. They were curious and playful. We took our 2 grandchildren, 5 and 7, and our son, 38!!! They all had a ball. Our son is quite fit, and said he was stuffed. Kids were worn out, but had loved it. They only had half an hour and this was plenty. They jumped sprang and bounced all over the place. Take your own drinks as you will need it. You can buy drinks and food there if you prefer. You can easily drive past it, so turn left off Central Coast Highway into Hely St and parking entry is about 25 metres on the left. Turn into car park opposite the motor bike shop. Fantastic spot to take the kids, when they need to burn off some serious energy! We've been lucky to time some visits on days that were fairly quiet, so the kids had a wonderful time. The older kids loved the climbing frame and slides. Our little person loved the spot for the Under 4s, and was quite safe in there. The bumper cars is a HUGE hit, since that opened (kids say it's their favourite feature at Tabatinga), and they also love the mini golf. Food is tasty, coffee is strong and parking is easy. A fabulous activity for the kids on a Sunday. Volunteers do a great job of maintaining two different trains which they drive a few kms to their railway museum. You have a stop there for a look around and then return to the starting point. They have a little kiosk where you can get a cup of tea and a pie.
