This is the second tine we have used this for our girls group wine tasting in the Hunter Valley! Christine and Joe are simply an incredible team. Chris helps us put together a perfect itinerary with wineries, lunches etc and Joe is the most wonderful driver, group photographer and makes sure our purchasers are put in the back properly stored and our cheeses & chocolates in the esky to stay cold. I traveled over to Tea Gardens on the ferry, hadn't really researched things to do at Tea Gardens. Rang up Myall Coast Tours which was recommended to me. They were happy to take me out on the Beach Bus despite me being the only one booked for that tour. My guide was wonderful and very friendly, she had a great knowledge of the local area and also took me to the Myall art and craft centre and information centre where I was able to buy some lovely crafts. Helicopter tours are never cheap, but you always hope that they are worth the money. This trip certainly was. We took off from Loyalty Beach on Cape York and headed south past Seisia to Crab Island. The chopper was well equipped for sightseeing and photos, and our pilot Fergus was one of those people who made you feel safe and thrilled at the same time. There were no doors on the aircraft, which made the flight even more special. Of course we were securely belted-in so there was no real danger (except perhaps from over-excitement!). We saw heaps of crocs, magnificent flocks of birds, sharks and other wildlife. Coming back we crossed the magnificent Jardine River and wetlands. Fergus kept us informed and entertained the whole trip via the headphones and we took some fabulous photos.See more..
