    Every Wednesday at 11am this wonderful cruise heads off from Yamba Ferry wharf. We boarded the immaculate ferry and watched the skipper skilfully navigate the sandbars as he crossed the river to Iluka to drop off/pickup passengers. He then commenced a fascinating history of the unique aspects of the Clarence Valley, highlighting sights and birdlife along the way. When we got to the steam driven 130 yr old Grafton Sugar Mill he turned under the brand new bridge and we headed back. We all admired dear Scotty who did the ropes, collected the fares, and ran around all day serving piping hot cups of tea/coffee and pies to all the oldies on board. He was marvellous. After a short stop at Iluka we returned to Yamba at 3.30pm. We highly recommend this wonderful outing if you happen to visit Yamba on a Wednesday. See more..

    Day 8 of our Australia trip began to explore suburb of the Central Coast region. Mooney Mooney located hardly 50 kms away from Sydney town at the end of a peninsula.Nestled on the shores of the Hawkesbury River, with views across to Brooklyn, you'll find the tranquil setting of Mooney Mooney We reached early morning and truly this place was blissful, calm & serene. Locals told us one can walk down to natural trail into the Brisbane Water National Park and enjoy the nature. We stayed by the river for almost an hour and more and really enjoyed the view. With hardly any tourists around this was a perfect place to explore Australia and can be added to travel list See more..

    Our 3 teenage boys had a great day out at Brunswick Heads. They hired a boat and went cruising along the river & fishing. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Especially helpful when our son got his fishing hook caught in one of the ropes, helping him to get it out. (Sorry you fell in the water! Such a good sport - most people would have got frustrated by then, but the staff were still friendly). See more..
