We enjoyed a day outing at Watsons Bay which was absolutely gorgeous on a bright autumn morning. It’s a easy ferry ride from the city with numerous ferries running throughout the day and evening. Watsons Bay offers plenty of attractions and excellent cafes and restaurants. The small harbour beach is delightful and the historical suburb a must to stroll around including a walk up to the Gap. 2. 4.0 Charlotte Pass (73 reviews)
    - Charlottes Pass to Kosciuszko Peak return walk

We did the full circle Charlottes Pass to Kosci walk over Easter as a family and had a great day out. All up it was about 23 kms (plus another 2 to get to the car, be early if you want a good parking spot) and took us about 6 hours which included a toilet stop just near the peak, lunch on the peak and me walking slowly due to soccer injuries! The walk there along the track is not overly fantastic as it is all a gravel road however it is well appointed and you can stop at the Seamans hut which has some great views ad worth a few photos. Take plenty of water and enough food to last as there are not stops along the way and we didn't find anywhere other than the toilet block to source water (well there are a few streams) so be safe. The return walk along the peak was far more picturesque and just to be up there in the fresh air, no technology and just nature was fantastic. Worth taking the day and then finding somewhere for a good feed on the way out as you will need it. See more..
