What an amazing walking tour. I was very impressed by the vast knowledge of our tour guide, Mitch. It seemed that we went back in time and enjoyed quality insight into the colonial history of Port Macquarie and the Hastings region. It should be mandatory for visitors to the city to learn these gems of information and thereby enrich their visit. I highly recommend the walking tour.See more..

We did the Newcastle Gin Masterclass on Sunday. It was tons of fun. Our tour guide, Becky, shared lots about the history of pubs in Newcastle which was quite interesting (Do you know where the idea of Happy Hour comes from?). She also told us about the heritage architecture of the buildings and the beautiful artist created murals we passed on our walking tour. We learned a lot about gin, had some lovely cocktails, learned some Newcastle history, and had lots of laughs. I also was served the best gin and tonic cocktail I have ever tasted! What a great day we had with Craig on the walking bushranger tour of Canowindra and surrounds! All five of us (3 adults and 2 kids, aged 7 and 9) really enjoyed the day. Craig is a born storyteller, and we were all fascinated by what he shared with us. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day for our tour, so the walk around town was very pleasant. We purchased the lunch package too, and enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal with Craig and his partner at Croote Cottage afterward. All in all, an excellent day that was definitely ‘something different’ - educational AND enjoyable! Thanks Craig.See more..

The tour was worth the 2 hour drive to Joadja Creek, had been planning for years to gather members of my family to see where our ancestors had once lived and worked when they arrived from Scotland. The were a number of stops at each spot for a great talk from the guide and enough time to take photos of the ruins. The guides were great and very knowledgeable of the history of Joadja Creek.See more..

If you want the most amazing experience then we recommend booking a trike tour with Max. We did the Megalong Valley ride which started when he picked us up at The Carrington Hotel and kitted us out in helmets & warm leather jackets, strapped us into our seatbelts and away we went! Down around Scenic World, out to Narrow Neck then hugging the cliffs as we headed west to Blackheath before dropping down through the rainforest into the valley. Nothing was too much trouble. Max made sure we were comfortable and saw everything. We stopped at great vantage points and had lots of photos, as well as great conversations.
