We stumbled upon this attraction by accident and we're so glad we did. For $12 an adult, we boarded an old 1920's CPH Railmotor (affectionately known as a "Tin Hare") at historic Cooma Station and rode the 45 minutes to Bunyan Station before the return journey back to Cooma. It was a trip back in time and the nostalgia and fun were matched by the enthusiastic volunteer staff who shared their knowledge of the history of the Cooma Railway. We had a guided tour of the rail yards and sheds as well as inside the station house. They host special functions such as weddings, Christmas parties and school groups. They also run a 90 minute trip to Chakola and return. They are presently in the process of restoring a Dining Car with the prospect of providing on-board catering. We had such a fun time and for any rail enthusiast, this attraction is a must. See more..

Did the Coonamble dinner train about a month ago from gilgandra and was a fantastic experience , the rolling dinner was nice simple country dinner.Faboulus time and well organised. See more..
