The Royal Doulton Hankinson Memorial Fountain image
Located within the memorial gardens on Victoria avenue and East street. The fountain is one of only two of a kind known to be in existence, the other, is located in India. The gardens themselves are well manicured, nice to have a stroll through and also to view the other memorials dedicated to the soldiers who served in WWI. See more..

    Griffin Fountain image
Walter Burley Griffin proposed a new town centre around a prominent hill. Two water reservoir towers on top of the hill were to provide the main entrance to the town. A grand central plaza would lead from the towers, complete with ornamental pools and a fountain. Fast forward and this found didn't quite exist...but the council has put one there. This small, pretty piece was placed here in 2003 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of local Government in Leeton Shire. It was opened by the Honorablel Tony Kelly MLA - Minister for Local Government & Mr Lin Gordon - Former Minister for Local Government and former Shire President. The mosaic features are lovely and it gives you an interesting perspective of the town below. See more..
