This was a surprise birthday present for my partner Andrew, and this is probably one of the best holidays we have ever shared, together with my girlfriend Beryl. Tumut was the perfect place for us, the setting along the rivers where Tony took us were exceptional and some of the most stunning scenery I have seen in Australia. And Tony really made such an effort to make our lessons exceptional, and they were. The courses are made to start to teach children to learn to drive in a safe and controlled envirmonment. They also have a teenage driver program which we will be sending our children to do when they are old enough. This is a fantastic facility with a cafeteria and plenty of spaces to sit and watch your children. I don't think learner drivers can get enough training. Well worth the drive to Marulan. Martin Hughes,chief flying instructor does scenic flights as well as training. He has a Jabiru J120C 2 seater trainer great little plane. After a thorough briefing your strapped in and head sets on. take off is from jindy's little dirt air strip just out of town. We fly up over thredbo Valley following the Alpine Way Over Crackenback, Thredbo and over into Victoria and come back around over Mt. Kosciuszko. We then fly back over the NSW snow fields, Perisher Smiggins And back to the far end of Lake Jindabyne. Now we dropped down and fly low straight down the lake to Jindadyne. How beautiful was that, over the dam wall and back to the strip for landing. Martin is so knowledgeable of the area, its so interesting. Also has a larger plane available.
