This was our first visit to this store. The car park in not overly large, so parking was scarce. We purchased some large cooked prawns and on special were green tiger prawns so we bought a kilo of each. Lots of seafood variety and the prices were reasonable. Lots of good looking meat also. The store was crowded but they have lots of staff ready to assist. See more..

3.5Nimbin Markets(55 reviews) - Vibrant and interesting Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
Whilst there are always market looking stalls on the main street of Nimbin, Nimbin Markets operates down and around the rainbow coloured Community Centre on Cullen street, every 4th and 5th sunday of every month. And the REAL magic occurs around the main stage, which is through the main gate of the Community Centre, and down at the back of the grounds. Our market has high morals, and we like to keep everything Handgrown, Handmade, Fair-trade, or Recycled as much as possible. So we have local produce, a variety of healers, excellent recycled and vintage wares, various unique art forms, like wool sculpting, hand crafted leather goods, artisan wood furniture, absolutely incredibly crafted bone carvings, local and organic soap, international food, a variety of unique jewellery, plants, and an amazing main stage where endless playing, jamming, and improvised magic happens between a diverse array of musicians and sound sculpturists. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! It's the vibe, the family feel and the love that really hit the average visitor.See more..

Goulburn was the first stop on our road trip and these community markets just happened to be on as we stretched out our legs. Some good home produce was on display and plenty of stalls selling various types of Australian made winter clothes on a bitterly cold morning. My wife bought a pair of wool gloves from the first clothing stall she saw! It's a market you can easily browse through in under an hour and then head off to the one of the nearby cafes for a pot of tea and toast. Pleasant enough.See more..
The Grown and Gathered market relies on our community to bring their goods to the market to share. To re-use, re-cycle, upcycle and re-purpose - giving things a new life or a new home. Our goal is to minimise waste, and provide for others in the community. Our stall holders now come from far and wide, and while not all of them use recycled or repurposed goods, all of them believe in our ethos.See more..

There was a range of stalls- books, leather craft, jams and preserves, plants, veggies, other produce, a sausage sizzle and a range of crafts. We bought jam, birthday cards and a locally made kelp and chilli seasoning. Not all the stalls were in place due to the impact of the bushfires. It’s now safe to visit and the locals need support.See more..
