We have been holidaying in Merimbula for more than 20 years. We drive from Melbourne and stay for 3 weeks. We are members of the golf club and love to dine there. Unfortunately over the years we have been constantly disappointed by the food on the menu. To our surprise we returned this week to find a new menu and a new chef. We enjoyed our meal which was good value and tasty. A big improvement and we intend returning tomorrow.See more..

First time I attended I took out $20 membership for 3 yrs only to be given a $20 voucher for lunch. Very kind of them to do this. Especially during hard times. Lunch was extremely well presented. Bistro very CLEAN and spacious. I attended gaming area of the club also. In which Lachie delivered me a special complimentary Lattee. A special mention to Chelsea at front desk. Jess, Chloe and Jonty in Bistro. And the girls behind the bar. Highly recommended. Well worth the drive For todays effort I give you 10 stars out of 5.See more..

The clubhouse is a light, airy place with a green outlook across the golf course. Its an unassuming, low-key venue but is a pleasant place to have a drink. Staff are helpful and friendly and are welcoming to out-of-towners. The restaurant has changed hands a few times and has had its ups and downs. We ate there recently and new owners had just moved from up Sydney to take over here. A small, temporary menu only was being offered while they settled in. I had a chicken parmigiana with prawn and avocado which was OK but was probably not a fair representation of what will be their normal, full menu. The new owner came out to check that we’d enjoyed our meals which was a nice touch and she explained that they plan to offer traditional Australian clubhouse meals alongside Korean dishes so we will definitely try it again another time.See more..

He loved the Grilled Barramundi with vegetables, said it was the best meal he had the whole weekend away. We all loved our mains as well as desserts. Highly recommend.See more..
In the middle of nowhere, basically. Over 2.5 hours drive north west of Moree so good timing for a drink and feed break. Head to Cumborah, left off the main road north to Lightning Ridge. Turn right in the town then take a left after about 8k’s (follow the signs). No need for special vehicles to access this area. Club was covid safe, check in, tables spread out etc. Service was welcoming and engaged in some conversation of the local area which was good. No gaming to speak of which is unique in its own right. Food was good, large meals, reasonably priced for the area. Suggest one spends at least a couple hours there to help soak up the atmosphere, look at the local artefacts and chat with some locals. Some real good things to look at! Make sure you check out the golf course out the back haha. See more..
4.0Breakers Golf Course Wamberal(15 reviews) - A great venue. Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses This is a great club and the food outlets are continually changing their menu. 4.0Calderwood Valley Golf Course(5 reviews) - Social golf in a scenic setting Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses Calderwood Valley Golf Course is a great place to go for a leisurely social round. The course is varied with a few little surprises. While it is not particularly long it does have somebholes that will let you flex your driving muscles. The real gem for me though is a short par 3 across a creek into a pocket of rainforrest. You can hear the bell birds chiming as you prepare to tee off. The course doesn't get over crowded and is well maintained. Green fees are reasonable with twilight golf rates offered all year round. They have a full range of hire equipment including electric carts. Well worth a few hours visit.See more..
