    My husband and I went to Smith Park on a Monday afternoon. We are not from Marshall but like to get to know the area. The park has old playground equipment but more than some parks. The park has a medium sized building used for civic events, I assume. We pulled into the park from the main street then drove through the park and into a neighborhood. Wow, that was a scary hood. I would not let my kids play here without lots of supervision. Nope, I will not be back. See more..

    This is an old park for skateboarding. They have metal ramps secured to the concrete. Located next to a school and park. It you just have to skate and cant go any place else then use this one. My kids were able to skate it for 15 minutes, but it was not rated highly by them and they were not impressed. Luckily there is a brand new skate park just 7 minutes away and it provides a skaters delight in use. See more..

    My husband and I went to Oak Park but discovered it is closed. The sign at the entrance states that the park is open April 1 to October 31. The park appears to offer a pavilion and open places. Covid-19 is probably the cause of the closure. See more..
