2 Star Places To Visit in Pennsylvania, United States (50)
2.5Valley Forge Casino(452 reviews) - Nice overall casino Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 AM Casinos
Was here for a quick trip while we were killing some time. The casino is very small. Okay choice of machines. Did not play table games. My wife and her niece enjoyed the bar while I played. Did not win, but had a decent time playing....See more..
2.5Chambersburg Mall(50 reviews) - Sad to See Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
2.5Round 1(31 reviews) - The struggle is real. Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 AM Spent 2-3 hours Bowling Alleys
I am not one to leave a bad review unless my experience is BAAAAAAAAAD. But average is definitely all this place is. Underwhelmed by the staff, the weird foreign arcade games. It's dark and just not what I had anticipated. I guess after having been a Dave & Buster's fan for so many years, I was hoping this would be the next best thing. Nope. All the nopes.See more..

2.5Hygea Wellness Spa(22 reviews) - a nice salt room but only so-so massages. Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spas
My wife and I originally had an 8 visit package but after awhile she stopped going and I didn't renew after I used the last ticket. The staff is very friendly, but the massages are only so-so. Normally they only do 30 minutes, and then only want to target a specific spot. I was able to book one hour long massage and it was quite a disappointment. My shoulder was sore, and my left hamstring. She massaged both, but stopped twice to give me hot towel wraps, once on my shoulder and once on my hamstring. Each time she was gone for about 10 minutes so an hour long massage was really less than 40 minutes. The salt room is relaxing but it is a bit chilly...and I like being cold....so make sure you wear something warm. They have a few lockers where you can put your stuff, if you are one of the first ones there, so I would recommend you leave all your valuables locked up in the trunk of your car in case you don't get a locker.See more..
2.5Woolrich(16 reviews) - I Expected More... Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
I read the Woolwich story before we had come upon this outlet store. I was really looking forward to buying something made right there is Pennsylvania, however, all of the tags are labeled as made in China or made in Vietnam. I do not have a problem with that, however, I do have a problem with advertising this historic quality that is still present today. Things are not the same. Also, there were very limited sizes and the prices seemed insanely expensive to me. I’m glad we went once but we won’t return and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. See more..
2.5Hollywood Casino(11 reviews) - Not At All Impressed Casinos To start we had to find a floor person to find a customer service agent to get our gambling cards. We waited for at least 5 minutes and no one was behind the counter. The variety of slot machines was limitedl. I went through $300 and not a free game or a hit across the machine. Seemed like very tight slots. Also not many food options.See more..

2.5Pioneer Mom with Scary Child(9 reviews) - Classic Roadside Americana Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Monuments & Statues
Worth the stop only if you're already in the area. The hotel had definitely seen better days and could use an update. It is a bit creepy, especially the child's face. See more..
2.5Mercer Raceway Park(9 reviews) - A fun time but way too expensive! Auto Racing Tracks This is a fun thing to do, it's BYOB, so you can hang out and watch the races and relax or party with friends, but the price is outrageous. expect to pay almost $20 per adult and $40 per adult to get in the pits. You could go to dinner and a movie for that!See more..
2.5Evansburg State Park(9 reviews) - Hiked here for many years. The place has gone downhill dramatically in the past several. So disappointing. State Parks • Hiking Trails
Trails are trash any more. Poorly marked, overgrown, trees blocking many trails. Crappy drainage, tons of mud and horse droppings everywhere. Such a shame since it 5 minutes from my house. Compared to a place like French Creek this should actually be a 1 star park. C’mon PA, this place deserves better.See more..

2.5Carmike 7 Theatre(8 reviews) - Updating needed! Movie Theaters I take the kids for movies regularly, and I always notice the age of the carpet and seats. You can sometimes hear the movie playing next door, seems that the fast action films are the ones I notice. Ticket prices are average but it seems that concession prices are super high. Staff is usually pleasant.See more..

A redneck place that is uninviting. It looks like a dump from the outside, and is little better from the inside. It is rather dark. They are over priced too! Only a certain type of local comes here. Near a tattoo shop with weird folks hanging around outside.See more..
2.0Four Seasons Golf Center(4 reviews) - English? Miniature Golf Just called here, looking for specific details of an Event held there last night, and found myself conversing with someone did not understand English !! The ONLY positive to this Facility is ... a covered, heated stall, hitting area for off-season work. The "grass" area is a F#$%ing joke, and the Mini Golf is a better one !!See more..
2.5Galen Hall Golf Course(3 reviews) - Great Shape Challenging and Friendly Staff Golf Courses
The course was in great condition from the tee box thru the greens. The greens were cut just right not fast not slow. We loved the layout up and down hills water holes and sand traps. loved that some of the greens were elevated.See more..
I purchased this as a gift for my husband and a friend. I got to go along as a passenger, while they took turns flying the plane. This was so much fun and Bill, our pilot and teacher was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and just a all around nice guy. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The weather was clear and very little wind, so we had a perfect day! Bill took us flying over our home & work, as well as close to the Limerick Nuclear Towers. A entire different prospective when you are a passenger or flying the plane. Another check off my bucket-list! See more..
We had not been at Marion Center Speedway for several years. When we walked in we were happy to see workers that we hadn't seen for a long time. They welcomed us and asked how we had been. As we sat in our seats we saw that not many if any updates had been done to the facility. Speaker system is still very poor. Track surface still looked like it was in good condition. Racing was pretty good. I had to see any track close but I really think they need to put a little money back into the facilities. Great to see fire crew there but I think they need to have a worker in the corners.See more..
2.0Fitzwater Station(3 reviews) - Love sitting out side! Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM Bars & Clubs I have been here twice now, both times our food has been excellent. The staff are very friendly, we love sitting out on the deck watching the kayakers, fish, ducks and turtles. The fist time we came(last year) they had a liqueur license this time they did not. One of the workers said that they should have it in a couple more days either way I really like going there! We have hiked the tow path and done the kayakers loop... all good fun!See more..

2.5T J Shooters Inc(3 reviews) - Fun Time Out with Friends Bars & Clubs
Celebrated a dear friend’s birthday in what was the first visit for many of us. We arrived during a slower time in the evening, granted it was a Tuesday night. We ran the juke box and owned the pool table for a few hours. Had a super fun time with some very special people. Looking forward to our next time out!See more..
2.5Brother Paul's(3 reviews) - Good food and service Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM Bars & Clubs Go on a Friday night for the french fry special - fries with pulled pork, gravy, and cole slaw. They are out of this world! With a side salad, it's big enough for a meal. The pork melts in your mouth. See more..
2.0AMC Center Valley 16(3 reviews) - Sad Movie Theaters Staffed very minimally (waited for popcorn for approx. 20 minutes), trash over-flowing in bins and on floor, avoided bathrooms because of the condition of the rest of the place. Light displays no longer activated.Looks like its waiting to close its doors.See more..
Many bowling lanes in PA seem to be stuck in the 1990s. Colonial Lanes fits that bill. The lanes themselves are well maintained and everything appears to be functional, but it looks like they haven’t invested in anything in a very long time. There is auto scoring (again using the same software from the 90’s), shoes available for rent, pool tables, and pro shop. We were there on a Friday evening and it wasn’t packed but active and the people there all seemed to be there to bowl and enjoy their time. Important note: cash only, no cards accepted. The only thing not stuck in the time warp is the price. Three games will run you just over $10 per person, not including shoe rental.See more..
2.5Olympic Fun Center(3 reviews) - Had a blast Spent More than 3 hours Game & Entertainment Centers
Mickey and mini were there. It was sad to see hardly anyone skates anymore. They have laser tag and a bumper ride. They also have a play area. I hope skating comes back. This place is nice and my 20month old daughyer was able to skate. The skates start at a toddler size 7. They also have a thing the kids can purchase to hold onto while they skate. See more..

2.5The Washington Furnace Inn(2 reviews) - Cool place on the Mountain Bars & Clubs We were on our way home from an Event in Ligonier and we decided to stop at The Washington Furnace INN, because I had never been there. It was much larger than I thought, especially the bar, it went from one room to another ! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean ! See more..
2.5Rich Maiden Golf Course(2 reviews) - Rich Maiden doesn't honor their certificates Golf Courses Had a bad experience and won't be going to Rich Maiden anymore. They've lost a customer for good. Plenty of other golf courses nearby. The refused to honor a Groupgolfer Certificate. The certificate was expired but per Groupgolfer policy it is still worth face value. Tried to use the certificate to take $18 off the regular weekend 18 hole rate and they refused to honor it. With COVID and getting deployed I was unable to use it the pervious season. They were extremely rude about it and the older gentleman there said to me in a very snarky attitude "Do you know what expired means?? ". Not a good way to treat a repeat customer. GroupGolfer Policy What can I do if my voucher expires? When a voucher expires, it does lose its promotional value; however, all expired vouchers are worth the amount paid towards the good or service at the golf course. For example, if you purchased a voucher redeemable for 18 Holes with Cart and a Small Bucket of Range Balls for $25, your expired voucher is worth $25 towards the value as listed on the offer. You would only be required to pay the difference.See more..
Cool little dive bar. I was in town for work, stopped in for a beer, the bartenders were not very friendly to out of town workers. (Oilfield people) Prices were decent.See more..
2.5Color Me Mine(2 reviews) - Totally wasted a day Paint & Pottery Studios
I visited color me mine in the capitol City mall for the first time with my wife and 3 children. This is a very popular spot and was quite busy. We were put on a wait list at first but then were seated right away. This is a great experience that the whole family can enjoy together. First you have to choose a piece of pottery that you want to paint. Once everyone has made a selection you pick out 5 colors from a huge variety of colors. The staff is friendly and explains exactly how to go about painting your artwork. There are also hundreds of paint brushes, sponges and stencils to choose from to make your pottery unique. After the initial 5 colors that the staff gets for you, you are able to get up and use any other colors you wish. I did not realize how long painting the pottery takes. I think I was there almost 2 hours. The kids really enjoyed being able to choose there own colors and paint however they wanted to. One thing to take into consideration is bringing very small children. It was very difficult controlling my 2 year old and keeping her occupied. They do provide high chairs if needed which helped a little. Once you are done painting it takes between 7-10 days for your pottery to be baked and ready for pick up. If your looking for some bonding time with the family with a piece of art that you can bring home with you, I recommend trying color me mine. See more..
2.5Disobedient Spirits(2 reviews) - Big city feel in a small town; (Sound like a John Cougar song!) Spent 1-2 hours Bars & Clubs
I grew up in this small town many years ago and left to find myself in the world. I returned recently to visit a great friend and we stopped into this bar for a drink. Just WOW! It has an amazing "Metropolitan Feel" in this small mining town that time somewhat forgot. It is a great addition to this sleepy piece of "Americana" and I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Great drinks and atmosphere ... Enjoy! 1. Clean 2. Friendly 3. Affordable 4. Quality 5. Safe areaSee more..
2.5Brackney Inn(2 reviews) - Great country bar / restaurant Bars & Clubs
We have never had a bad meal there..always great food!! Last week I had the open face prime rib sandwich and it was to die for!! Two 2 slices of prime rib plus fries for $7.95!! A double drink is only $6 and it's not watered down!! Usually great music from the juke box is playing, there's old fashioned shuffle board too. The downside is there is smoking allowed in the bar area but there is a totally smoke free section. We prefer to sit in the original bar/restaurant area because it has more of the old fashioned personality!See more..
2.5Laurel Highlands Railroad(2 reviews) - Community days Rail Tours Visited during community days celebration. Nice museum with a lot of artifacts and photos. Restored caboose you could walk through and a train ride for the kids to enjoy.See more..
2.07th Street Tavern(2 reviews) - Close to airport! This location was reported permanently closed Bars & Clubs
This restaurant/bar is my go to spot when picking up someone from the MSP airport. It is about 5-10 minutes away from either terminal's baggage claim, so waiting here is perfect! I recently landed in MSP and drove to eat here while waiting for my parents to land 3 hours after me. Lots of screens for sports and the food was pretty good - I ordered the Kobe Burger and my wife got the oriental chicken salad. Portions are huge and right when you sit down, they give you a popcorn bowl. The location and service gives this spot 4 stars, but the food brought it down to a 3 for me. Still my go-to spot for pickups - and I will try something else next time.See more..
2.5The Wet Whistle Bar & Grill(2 reviews) - Friendly neighborhood bar Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM Bars & Clubs A little hard to find if your not familiar with the area, it is tucked inside the Abington Club (a private club), but the bar/restaurant is open to the public. The staff and patrons are very friendly and it has the feel of a neighborhood bar, complete with a fire place and a pool table. I love their burgers (which are grilled), the chicken quesadillas, and buffalo shrimp. The draft beer selection always includes some great craft brews.See more..
2.5Boulder Falls Miniature Golf(2 reviews) - Clean Course Behind the USTC Complex Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Miniature Golf A fairly well-kept mini golf course with clean water and greens. Took the 3 kids here, the little guy was free but the rest of us were $8 each. Difficulty ranged a bit from hole to hole and was tougher for the little guys but they still had fun. Some of the greens fabric was wrinkled in areas so I felt that that could be improved upon, but one of the cleaner facilities we've been to. 19th hole gets you a free game if you can make the shot into the center hole. The course meandered around several water features and neatly landscaped hills. Kids want to come back here again at some point - something different to do in the area.See more..
These Hudson Stores seem to be in all the airports. This one in Harrisburg is very well stocked, very clean and tidy, and has nice employees. Many of the souvenir items seem to be nicely priced. Cannot say the same about postcards. I am still a person, who sends out many postcards when we travel. They have a really nice variety, but each postcard costs 99 cents. CVS does not have many choices, but there, postcards cost 5 for $1.00. This store is conveniently located on the second level, where the restaurants are.See more..
2.0Scenic Overlook(2 reviews) - You Might Want to Overlook This Overlook Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts
This is an average overlook that would be nicer if it were higher. Some of the near tree line may be blocking some of the potential view. Given how close it is to neighboring property on the opposite side of the street, I was surprised to find this might not be appropriate for young eyes. You’ll notice a lot of trash both on the deck and just over the stone wall. There’s graffiti that is not so delicate in suggestions and qualifications. And you’ll discover the discards from people unable to reach the mile high club, who still got reasonably elevated. If you can ignore all of that, the view of Scranton isn’t bad, especially if you have a great day to focus on the distance. It won’t host many cars, but it is free and located as a widened shoulder on Moosic Street. Take Purell.See more..

2.0Warriors Path State Park(1 review) - Neglected Park State Parks This is a very small neglected Park. When we arrived at the park the grass was not mowed, the dumpster was overflowing and looked like a bear had discovered it. A building was in the process of being torn down or possible remodeled. The pavilion area just did not have a nice feel at all. We continued into the park and there was some great access areas for people entering and exiting the River by boat.See more..
