Excellent food tour! This was the fifth food tour we have taken and this one rates right at the top. Out hostess Gayle did an outstanding job. She was knowledgeable of the area and history. She was entertaining as she took us through the tour telling us local stories and mixed it all in with some humor at times. The various stops offered us a nice variety of foods and the restaurant specialties, as well as a libation stop! And Gayle ,if you get to read this, thanks for not losing patience with my sister, who did the tour with us, as I think she sat on a cactus that morning! I highly recommend this food, but give yourself plenty of time to get there, as the area is quite congested as you near town. See more..

My fiance, myself and my 9 year old daughter all live within 30 minutes of Lancaster and have experienced most of the Amish experiences (which are not really authentic), but this experience was different, I finally had the opportunity to sit down to a home cooked meal by a wonderful Amish woman and have a great conversation with the family. My 9 year old loved joining the kids in a soccer game after dinner. Phil was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the area and the Amish. I can't wait to take more of LoKals excursions. What a great way to spend the evening! Thanks so much Phil! See more..

    Taste Kennett Food Tours image
What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon - with friends, trying new foods in a town you normally don't travel to. A group of girlfriends spent took the Taste Kennett tour and we had an awesome time! The samples of everything we tried were substantial enough that we were able to get a true tasting of what they taste like. No need to worry about eating when you're done - you have enough food on the tour to fill you up. Elliott our tour guide was great! You could tell that she enjoys her job and meeting new people. Ann @ Taste Kennett was great to work with in scheduling our tour and answering any questions we may have had prior to the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour for others to try!! See more..

Tastings and Tours: Lehigh Valley - Berks County image
We took a wine tour with Rich in the Lehigh Valley this past Saturday for my bachelorette. We visited Folino Estates and Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery. My girlfriends and I had the BEST time! The tastings were delicious, and we learned so much about local wines. Rich is such a fun tour guide, and we loved getting to know him and hear about his passion for his business. Thank you for allowing us to relax and providing us with such a fun experience! We highly recommend Tasting and Tours. We can't wait to book again! See more..

My husband and I just got back from a 4 day three night stay in New England, touring Boston, Rhode Island, Salem and Gloucester. Our driver Doug (from West Virginia) and Mike from New York were so accommodating. Doug is a terrific driver. We had severe rain on our first night in Rhode Island and while touring a large pumpkin display, the parking area was pitch black and yet he maneuvered through it. The Encore was a really nice surprise. The only complaint was not enough time to enjoy the hotel and casino. Plenty of vouchers for food and gambling but almost no time to spend them. For future, I think I would reduce or even skip Rhode Island and go directly to the Encore though the hotel in Rhode Island was very nice and clean. I also would skip the trolley ride through the graveyards in Boston and let the guests spend the evening at the Encore. See more..

As a visitor to Franklin I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A Bite of History Food Tours. If you only have limited time to explore the area, this is the experience for you. This walking tour flawlessly combines food and history into a fun 3 hour experience. Even on a busy Saturday, we received VIP treatment from local establishments. This food tour rivals experiences found in tourism hotspots. The tour guide, Valerie Perry, has put together an exceptionally well-executed experience. You won’t regret taking a tour with A Bite of History. See more..
  8. 4.0 The Junk Food Tour of Philadelphia (3 reviews)
    - A fun day out
    Food Tours
The Junk Food Tour of Philadelphia image
Take a bus tour around the lesser-known parts of Philly, while gorging yourself on the local cuisine. Cheese steaks, brisket, Stromboli, Italian ice, white pizza... All full portions-not tastings. When you get on the bus you're handed a yellow shopping bag and a tray. The bag is yours to save what you don't eat for taking home, and you'll be taking home most of what you order. Order on the bus and it's ready for your arrival. Not much walking, although the Italian market is a great walk. We really enjoyed it, although the gym next week is a must. See more..
