My hotel was in Pittsburgh down town and used to cross this bridge at least 3 times a day to go to city for food and fun. And i came to know that i loved to be on this bridge. I loved it. Great view of the river and the city. You stand here in the evening and see the reflection of the city lights in river water and get mesmerized. And for the couples, please do not forget to take a lock with you. Just add one in thousands already hanging on the bridge safety grill as a memorial of the love , locked forever.See more..

5.0Tunkhannock Bridge(38 reviews) - Absolutely stunning, and even better than in photos. Spent 2-3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Bridges
The Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct is an absolute wonder. It's surreal. If you love railroading, and/or architecture, you really should see it. And if you take Route 11 South from the NY border, you will also get to see the Martin's Creek Viaduct (its "Little Brother") on the way down. Both are stunning. My husband and I also did a side trip to see the Starrucca Viaduct, also a real marvel. Worth the trip - ALL of them.See more..

4.0Schlicher Covered Bridge(9 reviews) - TRULY A STRUCTURE OUT OF THE PAST Spent < 1 hour Bridges
It was nice passing though the unique all wood covered bridge on the way to Schnecksville to dine. It certainly brought back a slew of memories from our youth. Be very careful of the large dip in the macadam as you emerge from the Northern side of the bridge onto the roadway. An added plus is the scenery of the adjoining park system as we drove North through the wooded areas that lead to the bridge itself. A must see for the younger set.See more..

I grew up right down the street. A beautiful and relaxing place. A popular destination for prom pictures, however it would be better if the damn heathen children who live in the trailer park nearby would stop spray painting on it. See more..

Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Bridges The Martin's Creek Viaduct is an awesome site when traversing down Route 11 from NY to PA. If you love railroading, and/or architecture, you really should see it (you can search for it online for location and info), but then keep going down Route 11 South to the Tunkhannock Bridge Nicholson, PA Viaduct, which is even larger, and absolutely stunning. My husband and I (railfans) also did a side trip to see the Starrucca Viaduct, also a real marvel. All of the bridges were impressive to see in person. I actually visited in June 2021, and not July 2021, but I just decided to add the location in TripAdvisor, and June 2021 was no longer an option to select.See more..
