    - All Abord The Kempton!

Love the Kempton. Run by volunteers, so they all are way into their jobs. Nice model train yard in a caboose. Very Kid friendly. Inexpensive kid food (corn dogs) at the snack bar. Excellent experience for small children as the round trip ride is about 45 min, and because the track is a single track run, the kids get to see the engine move from one end to the other and watch it "hook up". Check for special events, all are lots of fun - we just witnessed the train robbery. My grandchildren (3rd generation passengers) bought it hook, line, and sinker. There is a great playground across from the parking area, and The Kempton Hotel is on the way with good food, streaming The Disney Channel after a train run. I highly recommend it. See more..
