  2. 4.5 Lancaster Central Market (1.028 reviews)
    - LOVED IT
Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Flea & Street Markets
    Lancaster Central Market image
Loved the historic building and all the local vendors. My husband spent 6 weeks in vin Lancaster as musical director for the Peoples Shakespeare Project. He had a studio a few blocks away and was able to walk to Central Market and buy fresh food to cook. This was a big pluscto his stay. There was a mix of trendy ethnic cooked foods to eat at nearby tables and then fresh produce and meats from local area farmers. Herbalist selling tinctures and medicinal blends, bulk tea, honey/jams, empanadas, pretzels, and some handcraft items to boot. Some Amish and Mennonite farmers as well as traditional family farms, some organic. There was limited seating indoors for takeout dining and public bathrooms. We like supporting local economies as much as possible and the meatsxwere much cheaper than back in NYC Farmers Markets. See more..
  3. 4.5 Bird in Hand Farmers Market (783 reviews)
    - Classic Pennsylvania Dutch Food Market
Tuesday: Spent < 1 hour Flea & Street Markets
Bird in Hand Farmers Market image
The Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market is a favorite destination for locals, as well as out-of-town visitors. It features tons of delicious offerings, including fresh meats, cheese and produce, a wide variety of baked goods, chocolates and candies, bulk foods, spices, coffee and loose leaf tea, locally made chips and hard pretzels, hand-rolled soft pretzels, fresh-squeezed lemonade, apple cider, made-to-order subs, fried chicken and rows of homemade canned goods. Come for a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch style lunch or opt for something more portable, such as a soft pretzel-wrapped hotdog, and eat while you stroll the aisles in climate controlled comfort. Looking for a gift or souvenir? The Market offers locally made crafts and quilts, dried and silk flower, old fashioned toys, dolls and doll clothes, quality leather goods, t-shirts, and locally themed souvenirs. 4. 4.0 The Green Dragon Farmer's Market (548 reviews)
    - So much to choose from
    Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
The Green Dragon Farmer's Market image
We visited for the second time today and unlike all the reviews whining about no masks I enjoyed being able to breathe and communicate easily since clearly masks are optional. The last time we visited was the end of January so I was happy to see so many more vendors here today. Our favorite is the pet treat stand across from the butcher in building 6, she always has a great selection & great prices. The pretzels in #6 are the best out off all of the different options, gotta love cheese filled little smokies wrapped in a pretzel and don't forget to get the sweet mustard, you get 6 for $4. The apple fritters are delightful, well worth $2.25 each. I do wish this place had a stand with freshly squeezed juices but other than that you can literally find any & everything you could possibly want or need here. We live in Baltimore but have friends that live in the Poconos so we always stop here on the way up, already counting the days till our next visit in June. See more..

This place is Amazing!! We've been to a lot of markets and this one is such a gem. Amazing produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, etc... Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Tuesday is the day, just GO!! You won't be disappointed. More than likely you'll be amazed and have a wonderful time. Bring a cooler and load up while you're there. Once you've tried it, you'll be hooked. Thanks Root's!! See more..
  6. 3.5 Christkindlmarkt (279 reviews)
    - Admission price is Way too High!
    Flea & Street Markets
    Christkindlmarkt image
I do like the Christmas market and so love visiting Bethlehem, we have been coming to the market now for many years, it used to be at a different location, I actually enjoy it. We have been to Europe twice during Christmas time and the Christmas markets are spectacular but that is Europe and this of course doesn't compare and I would not try to compare, personally think they do a lovely job trying to replicate, I definitely feel the Christmas spirit and have purchased many nice things over the years, I do miss the cookie vendor, not there any longer. Sad to say we will not be back as the price of admission in our opinion is outrageous! Goes up and up every year. The admission price should be no more than $5.00. How on earth do you expect families to travel to you, pay exorbitant admission fees and then buy from vendors. Please reevaluate this policy as $12.00 is Ridiculous! See more..

  9. 4.5 Fairgrounds Farmers Market (136 reviews)
    - A Very Varied Farmer's Market
    Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
    Fairgrounds Farmers Market image
I discovered this market a few years ago. They finally have a website to help with making a market shopping list. The vendors are numerous and very varied. There are lots and lots of food vendors: produce, meats and poultry, bakeries, delis, eat-in and take-out, beverages, candies, snacks, dried, fresh, frozen, conventional and organic, seafood, bulk foods, and even a winery that sells my absolute favorite wine. Then, there are the flowers and plants, antiques and collectibles, tobaccos and other textiles. Plus, there's a barber shop. They supply shopping carts at the entrances. I recommend taking a cooler and some friends to enjoy the trip together. I highly recommend checking out their website. I have discovered a few shops there that I missed when there in person. Beware that not all the stands take credit cards, but those that don't, take cash or even checks, sometimes. See more..
  10. 4.0 Broad Street Market (113 reviews)
    - Very fun. Wish we had been there for lunch to try the different food vendors.
    Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
    Broad Street Market image
Use to go here as a child and wanted to visit. One building is predominantly baked goods, meats, cheese and some produce. Second building is mostly an eatery with a large variety of ethnic foods. Tables for dining in the middle. It's is definitely more upscale than in the 60s but we got some good cheeses and meats. Parking was available right at the market on Saturday morning. Worth the visit if you're in Harrisburg. See more..
  11. 4.5 Booths Corner Farmers Market (90 reviews)
    - Great place to shop or have lunch
    Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
    Booths Corner Farmers Market image
We love going to Booths Corner on Saturday afternoons to grab lunch (the empanada stand is really good!) or shop for groceries. We especially love the Amish vendors and Stoltzfus Meats. Some must gets: sticky buns from the Amish bakery, fresh ground peanut butter from the nut stand, and the horseradish pickles from the jams and jellies stand. And the 5 and 10 is always worth it to grab some off brand random stuff for a bargain. See more..

    - Now Closed
    Tuesday: Flea & Street Markets
    Saturday's Market image
I grew up frequenting this place with my family and friends. When my husband moved to the states, we'd love going here together on a Saturday that we would have off. I loved going through all the different stalls, looking for treasures! And the food stalls were always the best! We loved getting soft pretzels, lemonade, and fried food here. I've come home with loads of oddball and vintage items, as well as sweets, produce, and baked goods. As it got towards the official date of closure, there were less stalls, but not less people. Always busy! Miss this place a lot. See more..

    Jake's Flea Market image
Jake's Dream started back in 1980 with few vendors selling their wares out along Rt. 100. Maybe it was his infectious laugh or his knack for making everyone feel special but the vendors kept coming back. To Jake, the flea market and its vendors were his family and together they kept growing. Jake's flea market is now entering its 36th year and Jake's dream is being kept alive by his brother. - Saturday afternoon shopping
Spent < 1 hour Flea & Street Markets
    Tionesta Market Village image
My 2 friends and I were in town at my camp for the weekend, and I was excited to bring them to the Market Village. It's such a cute shopping area with a great selection of little shops- jewelry, wine, local honey/jams/salsa/jarred foods, antiques, rocks/geodes, soaps/lotions, sewing, bakery, etc! I was also happy to see a couple new shops! The shop owner at the winery was very nice and we really enjoyed our wine tasting. We loved the items we purchased at the bakery- orange gobs and delicious dinner rolls. There is a small play set for children, benches, and during our shopping trip there was live music playing. Some shops only accept cash, some take cards, so be ready for either option. The Market Village is absolutely one of the hidden gems of Tionesta and worth your time if you are staying in the area! 24. 4.5 Big Valley Antique Center (8 reviews)
    - Treasure Hunt
Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops • Flea & Street Markets • Shopping Malls
Attracted by a weekly flea market in the parking lot of Big Valley Antique Center, we caroused and bought a few things at the flea market then spent almost 5 hours going through the antique store, finally reaching the 2nd floor and ran out of time to finish two thirds of the upstairs. My brother in law found a few old farm items and things you wouldn't think of looking at but caught his imagination to convert them into something useful. For us older folk, wandering the aisles of this store was in part a trip down memory lane seeing things I grew up with and used. What impressed me was that there was so much of the old stuff because the things are native to the area. Back home there isn't such an abundance of old stuff available. I guess when we make another vacation trip we will finish looking upstairs and catch the flea market again too. See more..

Tuesday: Spent More than 3 hours Flea & Street Markets • Farmers Markets
Williams Grove Farmers Flea Market image
It starts at 5am, and they mean it. This is a massive flea market with many dozens of vendors selling old, used, flea market type items, not very many vendors selling new stuff. Plenty of free parking, but get there early for less walking. There are plenty of port-a-pottys around. There is food (I didn't try it). This is for sure a fun thing to do on a Sunday in Harrisburg. Housed in an old window factory, this is a great event venue for flea markets and collectible events. The upstairs is made up of several vendor stalls and rooms just full of treasures. The lower warehouse area hosts many types of events. The Under $20 Trash and Treasures event is well worth going to. Bring cash since there is no ATM on site. Belleville Livestock Market image
On a vacation trip to Pennsylvania, we wanted to see a local flea market and the weekly flea market at the Belleville Livestock Market made for a fun morning. Vendors ranging from farm items and tools to baked goods, hand made crafts and guns and whatever filled booths. We found a woven rug that was also part of a fund raiser, large whoopie pies, garden flags and post, tools, and cookies. Seeing Amish horsedrawn buggies parked also made us aware of the mix of cultures providing a unique atmosphere. We chatted with a woman who had Young Living Essential Oils which blended in with all the other variety of booths. Something for everyone to see and experience. Eye catching was the mom who took here child out of the cart so she could life what looked like a 50 pound bag of carrots into the cart. All sights you probably wont see in big city flea market.
