  1. 4.0 Bowman’s Hill Tower (137 reviews)
    - Eh - it was ok

If you're in the area, you probably should visit just to see it, but it's not really worth the money. The person working there seemed incredibly bored and offered no information. The stairs are narrow and steep so beware if that may be a problem for you. The view was nice, but I think they could do a better job with educational information (and enthusiasm). See more..

We went to take photos of the sunrise, but the sunrise was very underwhelming. This is a very quick trip for a photo op of the river and the views of the Pennsylvania Country side. It a beautiful view. Good parking. Handicapped Accessible. See more..

This is such a great photo shot. This is a black and white lighthouse with the background of the bay. There was plenty of parking and we walked around. You could see some driftwood and algae in the water. The pier is uneven and cracked in some areas. Its definitely a must do See more..

360° views from the top! It takes 15 minutes or less to walk up the pristine paved trail (and I swear they added something to the mix to make it sort of cushy), some places to sit along the way. No shade. Free entrance to the free parking lot from Hilts Rd, roughly 10 miles outside of York. See more..

This is an average overlook that would be nicer if it were higher. Some of the near tree line may be blocking some of the potential view. Given how close it is to neighboring property on the opposite side of the street, I was surprised to find this might not be appropriate for young eyes. You’ll notice a lot of trash both on the deck and just over the stone wall. There’s graffiti that is not so delicate in suggestions and qualifications. And you’ll discover the discards from people unable to reach the mile high club, who still got reasonably elevated. If you can ignore all of that, the view of Scranton isn’t bad, especially if you have a great day to focus on the distance. It won’t host many cars, but it is free and located as a widened shoulder on Moosic Street. Take Purell. See more..

  9. 5.0 Mount Pisgah Altar (1 review)
    - A Good Place to come and Meditate and Pay
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts
There is a large altar cross built of stone alone with a spectacular view. Very peaceful. Some woods on each side to listen to the wind rustle through them. To get there you have to drive down a rocky road which is built very nice, you just have to drive 10 miles an hour or slower, but it allows you to drive close to the alter with a level area to walk to which is not far at all.
