  1. 4.5 Crossing Vineyards and Winery (637 reviews)
    - Lucky Day
    Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
    Crossing Vineyards and Winery image
We happened upon this lovely vineyard/winery during our weekend in New Hope for a wedding. We did a tasting of dry reds and were more than pleased with their products. The Cabernet Franc was a favorite but it was hard to choose just one. While the weather was less than desirable the day we visited, we could imagine having a party here, either inside or on the beautiful grounds, or better…both! Deirdre was our tasting guide and proved to be very knowledgeable about the wines without talking over us. And it was our lucky day because the owners were on property and we all had the opportunity to speak at length about their history, their wine making policy, their future, etc. it was a grand old time and maybe needless to say, more wine was consumed! We visited several wineries and this one is hands down the best in the area. See more..

    - Very nice experience at Sand Castle
    Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
    Sand Castle Winery image
MY wife and I are from upstate NY close to the finger lakes wine country and are pretty spoiled about the wineries there. Sand Castle was an excellent experience. We did not have reservations but they were flexible and accommodating fitting us in with just a small wait. During the wine tasting, the host told us many stories and interesting things about the winery, the wines, and just some fun other trivial tales! Quite frankly , we visited several other wineries in the area, but this was clearly the best. They were accommodating, informal, fun, and made the tasting a true experience. The others we visited need to move more towards the customer experience like this place. See more..

Folino Estate Vineyard & Winery image
My husband and I opted to stop in for lunch during a weekend getaway at a nearby hotel. We were able to make a reservation for lunch online on the same day we planned to stop on. Beautiful festive holiday decorations were everywhere and we felt very safe as all tables were well distanced. Wine flights were great and offered a little bit of variety and food was outstanding. We shared a little bit of everything and would highly recommend the meatballs, crispy brussel sprouts, and seasonal ginger snap cookie gelato. Beautiful setting, great service, and wonderful food! We go beyond expectations to please our wine connoisseurs, romantic getaway seekers, travel enthusiasts, and culture collectors. You can relax in rustic elegance at The Inn at Deer Creek Winery in one of our 8 seasonally and culturally themed guestrooms. Feel like getting back to nature? There’s a room for that. How about a European feel? There are several more for that, with many also featuring a fireplace and in-room Jacuzzi. Wake up refreshed to a cooked-to-order breakfast. We also offer venue rentals to host weddings, banquets, parties, business conferences, and more. Whether you need a large conference room, outdoor seating, or ample space for a reception, we’re here to serve 7 days a week. Among our numerous scheduled events, each weekend we also host live musical performances by dozens of talented artists. We have a lite cafe and offer beer from a local brewery. No outside food or drink allowed. Visit our main winery or one of our other 4 outlet locations at Hermitage Kohl’s Plaza, The Mall at Robinson, Butler Clearview Mall, and McCandless Crossing. - Wonderful Winery!
    Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
    Penns Woods Winery image
We were looking for a local winery to visit before going to Longwood Gardens and I’m so happy we found Penns Woods! We were there on one of the first days reopening after Covid and the winery has done a wonderful job in adapting to the state requirements. We booked a tasting, which was held outside in a pavilion. They had a seating every few hours and the group (at socially distant tables) all went through the tasting together. We tasted 5 wines and the hostess talked about each one as we tasted. For our $25 tasting fee, we had 5 generous samples (much larger than a normal tasting), an individually packaged snack tray, and the full size wine glass to keep. I would definitely return! - A gem!
    Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Wineries & Vineyards
Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery image
We stumbled upon Clover Hill on our way into town (staying at Glasbern Inn) and were blown away by the place! We had a tasting to start, which involved 4 pours (2 oz each) to be enjoyed at one of the indoor tables. My husband and I loved each wine that we tasted and had a hard time deciding which to select when ordering a glass! We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back on our way out of town two days later! We bought several bottles to take home with us. Everyone was so friendly and we had a lovely time. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. We will surely be back! See more..

    - Nice wine tasting in Wrightsville!
    Tuesday: Wineries & Vineyards
    Moon Dancer Winery image
About 40 mins. from Harrisburg. Beautiful grounds and view of the river! It's waayyy up the hill off the main road but nice when you get there! Very nice place for purchase or tasting of wines (oh and BTW....since it's been mentioned in other reviews, very few wineries/breweries let you "taste" their products for free....always a charge!) Tasting = 2 oz. pours x 5 for $10. Great selection of wines, all types, white to red, dry to sweet, cider too. Defiantly a wedding venue...think French chateau! See more..
  19. 4.5 Vynecrest Winery (111 reviews)
    - Good, not great
    Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
    Vynecrest Winery image
We stopped here for a visit while staying in the area. We had a wine flight which seemed more economical than a tasting. A tasting was $10 for 3 pours (2 oz each) and a flight was $12 for 4 pours (4 oz each). We thought that was pretty well priced! Both my husband and I had 4 wines each but we weren’t really blown away by any of them. We usually leave wineries with a bottle to take home but passed on this one. The vibe is very cute inside and they have little bites that you can order to go along with your tasting or flight in the basement room. It was a nice place to sit and relax! See more..

    Glades Pike Winery image
Sue and Colton were very friendly and welcoming! The wine was amazing - my husband and I started out with one wine tasting and decided on sharing a bottle of Vidal Blanc. We also enjoyed a cheese and meat tray. The atmosphere was fantastic looking over the snow covered fields in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Colton informed us of all the wonderful events they have coming up. The winery is not far from Hidden Valley and Seven Springs Ski resorts. We passed Shanksville - I believe it is 20 minutes from the winery. Thank you again, Sue and Colton for a wonderful snowy afternoon. See more..

Love this place. The wines are good. Not the kind that a typical 21 year old who hates wine pretends to like wine. The atmosphere and views are beautiful and it is a perfect place for adults to sit, relax, and enjoy some fantastic local wine. Oh and the artwork is so cool! See more..

    Blue Mountain Vineyards image
For over 30 years, Blue Mountain has produced a wide range of wines produced from grapes grown in the Lehigh Valley's New Tripoli, PA. The Lehigh Valley has an incredible micro climate similar to that of the northern Burgundy region of France, as well as the southern part of the Loire Valley. Pair that with soil that is rich with shale and limestone and you have a recipe for world class "old world" style wines. We pride ourselves on creating a fun and friendly connection with our customers. Ultimately, our efforts are focused on making world-class wine. We have been producing international, award-winning wines and even as we grow our motto remains unchanged, "Quality over quanity." See more..

    Stone Villa Wine Cellars image
I don’t think I’ve ever had tasted a bad wine here! I used to lean towards the sweet wines but now lean towards dry. Their Pinocitro is my favorite and I can’t find anything to match it. We were in Ohio to visit family so I drove 3 hours (don’t judge - the wine is that good!) to stock up. Due to COVID-19 they weren’t doing tasting but I recall they’d do a number of tastings for free. Bring your own food and enjoy the patio area! See more..

    - Very nice winery
    Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
    Foxburg Wine Cellars image
We traveled here on the day before the snow storm ripping through the area. We call this the "wine before the storm". This place had a large selection of wines from dry, semi-dry, sweet, and port wines that had a nice taste of brandy. All of the wines that we tried were very good. The Cab was really smooth. They have a special if you purchase 6 bottles, then a 7th one is $3. They take your most expensive bottle and charge you $3 for that bottle. The lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. Told us to look around in which everything was cut. I will come back. This place is in a nice location. A nice place across the street is the Allegheny Grille and a hotel across the street from the winery. Very cute place. See more..

    Manatawny Creek Winery image
My wife and I have been to Manatawny Creek Winery at least 5 or 6 times now over the past few years. NEVER disappointed. The staff there treat you as if you are old friends, and the wines are outstanding. A beautiful spot among the peaceful forests and rolling hills along the Manatawny Creek - an excellent place to spend the day outside anytime in Spring, Summer and Fall. They also have food truck events with live music during the summer months, but we have not had the opportunity to partake as of yet. They now ALSO serve some excellent home brewed beers, adding more variety to an already great line up of wines. Their wines tastings and bottles to go are all VERY fairly priced, especially when you consider the quality. We look forward to enjoying many more visits here for hopefully years to come! See more..

This is an 'ABSOLUTELY Must visit' place in the PA. This is a small place in the wilderness of Auburn, but you will not be disappointed once you visit the place. The owners of the place are so warm and welcoming. The wine is really refreshing and the bonus - is the Disc Golf Area that they have. My boys loved playing disc golf out there. We visited this place 2 times in our single stay at PA. See more..

This was my second trip to Courtyard. Once again it did not disappoint. Their wines are a bit more expensive than others nearby. The wines are also of good quality and they have a few varieties you cannot get elsewhere, namely the Zweigelt. Our bartender was very pleasant and talkative. We enjoyed meeting him and chatting while tasting. The indoor and outdoor seating is lovely and cozy. Everything is accessible and the restrooms are clean. See more..

My most favorite food is CRAB. My husband took me here on a Thursday night when they have all you can eat Dungeness crab and fresh cut fries. The crabs were huge and full of meat. The fresh cut fries were delicious and I can tell they change their frying oil often as they tasted fresh and were crispy and delicious. The wait staff was friendly. They have a choice of wine slushies which I chose the tropical wine slushy and it was so tasty and cooled down you mouth from the seasoning on the crabs. This meal also came with a side salad. I completely enjoyed myself. This place is nothing fancy just a backwoods bar/restaurant but it's certainly a gem in the rough. Can't wait to return. I understand they have a steak night and a fried chick night. Chicken night is Wednesdays from 4 to 8. They also have burgers, wings, stromboli and pizza done in a wood fired oven. Friday and Saturday nights are acoustic nights from 6 to 9. They also offer a full bar. See more..
