Starting in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. I attended the American Muscle all Mustang show at this raceway. It was huge enough for well over 2,500 pre-registered Mustangs as well as a few thousand more that showed up. There were about forty vendors as well as food vendors set up. It is located in the middle of "noplace" and a perfect location for the event I attended. I used to drag race here about forty years ago and it still looks the same. A very well kept property and I will be back next year if they hold the event here again.See more..

Traveled 500 miles to see the winged sprint cars of Pa. Was not disappointed. When I lived here years ago we went to Lincoln regularly, but since we moved south haven't seen a good sprint race since. Many upgrades to the spectator area, grandstand seats with backs, {nice}, paved walkway, Great show, kept it moving, no long intermission, ultra good racing surface, incredible speeds!!!! What fun we had visiting the Bedford Speedway! This was outside any of my other experiences and we had a blast! Upgraded to the PIT area and we were able to walk around the cars and talk to the drivers. The track featured Late Models, Semi Lates, Pure Stock and 4 Cylinders the evening we were there. We watched, pre-race, as the track went from mud to a hardened track with a sheen (a black sheen on the rounded ends!) by the time the last race was finished. That track crew really knows what they are doing to get the conditions just right!! The cars were LOUD and FAST! The heats and the races moved at a nice pace so you couldn't get bored just watching cars go in circles! We were welcomed by the staff and felt just like family!!See more..

Many improvements were made in 2020 as a new tunnel under the track was installed, new concession stand and bathrooms were installed in the infield, new grandstands in the pit area and a new victory lane are just some of the highlights. We LOVE the Jennerstown Speedway. Admission and concessions (including beer) are extremely reasonable. The races are well run. The announcer does an amazing job keeping the energy level up and spectators well informed. The facility is clean and well maintained. There can be a little bit of traffic as people enter the parking area, so allow yourself some extra time. Great place for family night with teenagers or even a couples night out. We had not been at Marion Center Speedway for several years. When we walked in we were happy to see workers that we hadn't seen for a long time. They welcomed us and asked how we had been. As we sat in our seats we saw that not many if any updates had been done to the facility. Speaker system is still very poor. Track surface still looked like it was in good condition. Racing was pretty good. I had to see any track close but I really think they need to put a little money back into the facilities. Great to see fire crew there but I think they need to have a worker in the corners.See more..

They learned about the hobby of Slot Car Racing. The track may be rented out for private parties (including boy scout groups, girl scout groups, birthday parties, etc.) and the race schedule for slot car hobbyists is on the website.
