Me and a friend of mine were in town for the 30th Anniversary of the Berks Jazz Fest and I randomly pick this place as a quick option in the interest of time. We hailed up a Lyft ride and upon arriving even the Lyft driver was amazed as we drove deep down the tree lined path which opened up to reveal the medieval structure. She told us she never knew the place was back there and she lived only 5 minutes away. Once we entered we were greeted and seated right away. All while taking in the atmosphere, which was great. After 7 minutes or server arrived with a welcoming smile and took our order for drinks. After getting drinks we placed our orders with great anticipation. I order the special of the day, recommended by our server. It was Crispy Chilean Sea Bass in an Orange Glaze. DAMN, IT WAS GOOD. I've recent moved to Georgia and probably will not visit Berks Jazz Fest again, but believe me, if I somehow return, I will certainly go to The Knights Pub again. It's simply an awesome place. We have been going to the Stoney Creek for a long time. I am disappointed at recent menu changes such as removing crab stuffed mushrooms and also the surf and turf. Food is always good. Can honestly say I never had a bad meal here. Deserts are phenomenal. Mixed Drinks are weak and not worth the price in my opinion. Coffee really good. Had dinner last night. Steaks overdone but quite tender and tasty. Wait staff very good. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Parking can be limited when busy especially during warm months when deck is open along the creek and waterfalls/dam. Environment in dining room is very noisy and loud. I stop in frequently enough, though usually to dine out. The crowd and staff have always been friendly when I'm around though, and I've enjoyed it when I've hung out. The food is great, and my favorites are the Jameson Burger and Rueben sandwich. The burgers are massive, and you can easily make a single burger into two meals. It's a TON of meat, and I've enjoyed each one I've had. The Rueben sandwich is also a solid choice, and like the burgers, you get your money's worth. We have gone to this place a lot. Sometimes for drinks and apps. This past Saturday we took our kids and future daughter in law. The place has a very nice upscale and professional look. The place is kept clean. We have favorite bartenders, Andy and Bailey. We love the food. The owners seem to have tried to avoid raising prices too much on menu. Perhaps a few dollars here or there. It is just a fun place to go to. In the warmer weather they have a deck. 2 issues I have. First the food is really good. There are dishes you go wow, I want to try it. My issue is as the menu changes it is not updated online. I wish it was. My wife and I could be home and are thinking about going to 24. If we could look at the current menu online we would go more when we see some of the great dishes they serve. A return visit here since before the pandemic. They have renovated the venue by updating it and removing seating making most tickets general admission standing, which we had. Nice sound system and really, no matter where you are in the venue, you can easily see the performers on stage. Clean bathrooms. Masks and proof of either vaccination or a negative COVID test is required for admission and they will check it. All staff wore masks and they are all friendly. We felt comfortable and safe with the protocol knowing that they have the customer's safety in mind ( and their safety) as well. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Parking is relatively convenient behind the venue, if you can find a space, street parking, or a convenient parking garage about a couple of blocks down.See more..
