I frequent farmer's markets whenever I find them and would have to give this one 5 stars for the size and variety of the place. It is especially good for meat and cheese. I didn't see much in the way of sit-down eating but possibly the pandemic has altered some of this from earlier reviews. But as a shopping experience, you are sure to find staples, treats and more at this large indoor market. Lots of free parking.See more..

4.0Lebanon Farmers Market(33 reviews) - We were delighted to find this place! Spent 1-2 hours Farmers Markets
After we were kicked out of the Lebanon County Historical Society, we went back to our car, which was parked in front of this building. Saw people going in and out, so decided to have a look. Wow! This place is fantastic. We went through all the aisles, and there was deliciousness all around us. We really were not hungry, but decided to have a snack anyway. A place called “Chili Dog” looked promising, and we ordered a combo to share. One 16 oz drink, fries, and a Cheese Steak sandwich ($6.99). It was more than plenty for both of us, and it was really good. I saw them make it all from scratch. We picked up the food, and took the Elevator to the open Mezzanine, where there were many clean tables, and comfortable chairs. It was wonderful. Afterwards, we bought some candy from the candy vendor, smelled the gorgeous fresh roses ($2.00 a stem), and bought a large fresh pretzel to take back to the Hotel. Next time we are in this area, will definitely, make a point to come here.See more..

It starts at 5am, and they mean it. This is a massive flea market with many dozens of vendors selling old, used, flea market type items, not very many vendors selling new stuff. Plenty of free parking, but get there early for less walking. There are plenty of port-a-pottys around. There is food (I didn't try it). This is for sure a fun thing to do on a Sunday in Harrisburg.See more..

Took our grandson to see the goats. The owner came out and walked us around sharing information about their farm. The goats are breed and sold, there were 2 young goats he was able to hand feed the baby goats. He also helped find a few eggs from the hen house (and yes, green and blue eggs are real eggs!). They sell eggs in the store, which is really a craft store with handmade wood crafts. They periodically host special events and you can rent their pavilion for private gatherings. Definitely a great stop if you are in the area.See more..
5.0Brogue Hydroponics(1 review) - Bright and fresh produce Spent < 1 hour Farmers Markets
The purple cauliflower attracted my attention, so I was happy to see that Brogue Hydroponics had come to our farmers market in Bel Air, one of four markets they attend. I was lucky to get other fresh produce in December, including kale, arugula, tomatoes (red and green), celery, leeks, and even turmeric root. I had been in Brogue the week before, but as the farm entrance is not on the main highway, I had missed it. Fortunately, they plan to return to our market next year. Their pesticide-free process is important. They also had an adjoining table with hand-made wood crafts, including handsome bowls of various shapes and sizes. Ideal for making salad from their fresh lettuces and greens.See more..
5.0Fellowship Foods(1 review) - I visited Fellowship Foods and made an order of food. Spent < 1 hour Farmers Markets I visited Fellowship Foods and their fields of fresh produce. I think this will be a future staple for my home.See more..
5.0Butler Farm Market(1 review) - Unique market with plenty to explore and enjoy Farmers Markets
Ok, we needed a break so decided to take a drive. Not too far away but someplace different. So heading north off the beaten track we end up in the country but not too far from Butler, PA. Nevertheless we weren't sure exactly where we were and found this interesting looking market set back a piece from the road. Plenty of parking with lots of outside produce like squash and cabbage. Home crafted items were for sale also. Stepping inside you have a large produce section and along the walls are the deli and meat dept. Plenty of selections with interested customers waiting their turn. This was a Saturday so it was plenty busy. There is a bakery section where I picked up fresh baked buns and bread. We also found fresh made sandwiches for our lunch as well. Aisles of other food items are available and we recognized ground coffee and biscotti that we have enjoyed at the Strip District in Pittsburgh. They had locally made jellies and jams on display too. We had fun looking around and buying different foods to enjoy later for dinner. This was a great addition to our drive in the country.See more..

4.0Westtown Amish Markets(1 review) - Almost Real Amish Market Tuesday: Spent 1-2 hours Farmers Markets The market is abuzz with activity on Saturdays with people buying food. mostly. The furniture and housewares sections are not busy at all but then again those prices are ridiculous. The food section varies and you need to know your prices unless you just want some specific items. We are bakery crazy so we wanted to get stuff we have a hard time getting since moving to Florida. The sweet items are good and the prices are OK. The breads were all soft and not worth purchasing. The meat and veggie sections were overpriced and we couldn't travel with them anyway, We did like the variety of the jellies, candies, etc in one section. Overall, a good find while visiting our daughter and SO who just moved to the area. A nice market to explore. Not the best Amish Market I have been to but great for locals.See more..

Meadville Market House(0 review) Farmers Markets The Meadville Market House is the oldest, continuously operating Farmer's Market in the state of Pennsylvania. We connect our farmers and growers with the surrounding communities to offer locally raised and grown meats, cheeses, milk, honey and maple syrup products. We also are home to a community of artisans who display and sell their works. Restaurants include Kettle Lake and Zest Kitchen, both of which prepare unique and flavorful meals, many using meats and produce right from our own market. The Meadville Market House was built in 1870, and retains the historic charm of the days when farmers first brought their crops to market via horse-drawn carts and buggies. It is considered a local treasure!See more..
